This is not a rug to get for high traffic. At all. Low traffic in a bedroom would probably be best. I've had this rug for two months now and it still looks good... after throwing it in the washing machine. Have you ever had cats? Cats with hairballs and/or delicate digestion? This rug ended up with a few spots that I couldn't scrub out properly. Then the kitten flipped up the edge and chewed a hole in the bottom side. It seemed light enough. It already had a hole. Why not throw it in the machine? And it worked! And spots are gone! Still fluffy and pretty even after its ordeal. See photo for evidence. It even survived the dryer on low heat. I only knocked a star off because it more than likely won't hold up for more than a year or two, but for $25, who would complain? If you expect this to be a living room, dining room, or entry rug, you can forget it. It definitely won't hold up. But as a comfy accent rug in a bedroom, it's definitely worth the price.

Okay so I had to wash this rug. I have it in my babies nursery so as you would imagine thereโs quite a bit of traffic on it. It says not to wash it in the machine and I was nervous to go against that. So I got some detergent and softener (gain & downy) and put the whole rug in the bath tub and hand washed it. I was shocked at home dirty it was. I was also worried it was going to get matted so I rung out as much water as I could and put it on pant hangers and hung it on my shower curtain. I took my hair dryer and started running my hand up and down to make sure it didnโt get knotted. I had no issues and itโs honestly more fluffy and soft then it was brand new! And it smells amazing !!

I ordered this rug for my infants room. The information provided clearly says "Our area rug is not easy to stain" well. For a room that is not being used much at all i must say, my rug is discolored and im not sure from what. Shoes are not allowed on rug bc of it being in my now 5 month olds room. I tried to clean it with the given instructions because "it is easy to clean" but yet looks dinghy. Disappointed bc I really do love the rug. I just wish it was in fact easy to clean and not easy to stain.

loved it when first purchased, nice & fluffy; but the edges were not very well put together. rug did not last very long; and difficult to clean. only would clean via shaking off the dust outside. I usually put small rugs like this of better quality in the washer on delicate & let air dry; but this one is so low quality that I did not see it surviving a delicate cycle. threw it out right after one yr. of having purchased it; it ended up flat looking and dingy.
