Other reviews knock the "quality" of this pump. But really, what can you expect at this price. I don't imagine I'll still be using it a year from now, but it just pumped 40 gallons of diesel from a storage drum into my truck in very little time. Unfortunetly I didn't think I'd be writing a review so I did not time it. It moves a lot of fluid at a good pace and if I were worried about keeping it working it's be sure to clean it after each use. I put this pump on my 36-gallon, off-road diesel tank that I use to refuel my tractors. It was easy to install but I noticed right away the aluminum tubing was really thin and the fittings are plastic. Not great signs for longevity. The pump worked well for about a year, then it started having issues priming. Finally, it quit priming and pumping altogether. Go with something more expensive with better quality if you want a pump that will last more than a year. ... show more

Chinese knockoff craftsmanship…again. Made to look like a sturdy American made product but made of the cheapest material possible. The pump feels like plastic and the draw tube is aluminum so thin that the insanely fine threading allowed the tube to stretch and separate at the joint on my second use. Just the pressure of the fuel, as the tube was moved back and forth, was enough to stretch/break it. The suction was minimal and the crank was ratchety. I just needed it around the house for occasional use and, therefore, didn’t want/need an industrial commercial version, but really?!?! This cheaply made? C’mon man… ... show more
