    • Small bits work the best.
While this is a good selection of bits the small ones really only work. The larger bits jump off in an unexpected manner and frankly are difficult to control. The smaller bits are much easier to control and at that best with soft vs hard wood. I’m not sure if the issue is quality of the metal???

I just got into carving with different bits, these came with various sizes at a great price point, they are very sharp, I carved and made my first trinket heart out of bolo hardwood these are heavy duty. Can’t wait to add to the collection. They don’t get hot to the touch when using them for ten minutes I was surprised. This set comes with a plastic case incase you don’t have a separate bit holder, they come oiled and sharp to the touch so be careful. ... show more
