I wanted to like this and I am not new to liquid eye liner but this smudged so much on eye I had to return it. It was a pass for me.

This doesn't have the finest point I've ever used, but it's not massively thick either. It went on smooth and the grip offered a lot of control so I wasn't all over the place. It was a nice, dark black without having to go over it multiple times. It took a little longer to dry down than the high end eyeliner I generally use, but once it did there was no smearing and it stayed in place. I'll embarrass myself a little here and admit I sweat pretty profusely due to some medications I'm on. This eyeliner didn't smear, run or smudge at all throughout the day. When I took it off in the evening I didn't lose any of my eyelash extensions like I usually would. It will definitely be a frequent part of my makeup rotation from now on.

I love several things about this eyeliner. For one thing, it has a felt tip, which makes it much easier to apply the liner than one of those long flexible brushes do. The felt tip is nice and thin, which also makes it much easier for people like me who have difficulty applying liner. I also love that the color of this liner is the blackest black that you can find. This liner dries quickly on me and stays on all day until I take it off. This liner is supposedly for eyelash extensions, which I do not have, but it works great for people without extensions also. The idea behind using a special liner for eyelash extensions is that this liner does not contain oil which can dissolve the eyelash extension glue. This liner washes off easily with warm water. I should note that I have watery eyes, but do not have a problem with the eyeliner smudging. The one thing that I do not like about this liner is that the ingredients are not listed anywhere on the package or in the product description. We are used to that with USA made products due to our concerns about toxic ingredients and allergens. This particular product was made in Germany. This product is definitely worth the full 5 stars, but I am deducting one star as the manufacturer should know to list the product ingredients on the packaging.

When I ordered it, I missed the “for eyelash extension” part. I don’t have eyelash extension, but I will share my thoughts and experience using it. Since I always look for good and reasonably priced ink liner. I have used both higher end and cheaper ink eyeliners. Cost wise, LLBA is in the middle to higher end range, consider its smaller size. The best thing about this liner is the intensity of the ink pigment. Even after eye cream, it easily glides on in matt finish and stays that way. It works well in the waterline. I am undecided if I like the tip. For a while now, I prefer to use brush tips because it gives a better control, particularly to creat fine line. LLBA has a fine tip that isn’t a brush, and it is not ultra fine. Perhaps it also has something to do with the pen length that is shorter than what I am used to. I am still getting used to applying it. I have oily eyelid, and I get smudges at the end, where it gets oiliest, within a few hours. When I applied lid primer, it stays smudge-free for 6-7 hours. It is somewhat waterproof. Easily removed.

This liquid eyeliner is like a sharpie in its staying power, but like a felt-tip pen in its application. Use caution with newly applied eyeliner until it dries. I wasn't too careful with that, and I got a lot of smearing. So, apply it right and let it dry without opening your eyes too wide. If the eyeliner smears, you will have to reapply; there's no fixing this (that I know of). The eyeliner removes easily with an eye makeup remover; not with soap and water. So that can be good, right? This is an eyeliner that goes on easy and stays where you put it. Just be sure to let it dry after you apply it.

Nice matte black liquid eyeliner pen. There is great control even though the pen is shorter than the traditional eyeliner pens. There is no sound when shaking this pen before uncapping and then applying the eyeliner. Works well. Lasts all day. Doesn't flake or smudge. I'm happy with this eyeliner and will use up the whole product :).
