So, I wanted to get a new fishing rod case. I had a Piscifun case, which I do really like, but it is rather long (around 47 inches). So, I ordered this one because I wanted a shorter case to carry my two 2-piece rods. When broken down, my rods are about 33 inches. Here's my observations / opinions: 1) Length: around 37" overall. Perfect for my application. No complaints there. 2) Compartments: so it has 2 separate rod compartments, full length zipper for each. Good. 3) 1st minus: this thing is flimsy. There is no support for the rods. Your rods ARE the support. The Piscifun case that I have is rigid, like it has a plastic liner built in. This Lixada does not. 4) 2nd minus: No "keepers" sewn into the compartments to help keep the 2 halves of your rods together. I did buy a roll of velcro stuff and used two small pieces to keep my rod halves together to keep them and my line from getting all wound up. I can put 2 setups in this case, no problem. I use spinning reels, so I just fold the reel handles inward for more clearance. But, with this case (as loose as it is) I probably wouldn't have to. I love the length for my rods, but the lack of any support or rigidity is kinda a downer. You will have to pay attention to where you put it for travelling, since if something gets on top of it, you may wind up with some broken stuff.

I'm sure some of the bags people received had defective zippers but the one I got is good. From the looks of it the zippers are going to be the last thing that fails, what will fail is probably the straps as they arent sown in very securely. Easy fix with a needle and some thread. The thickness of the material is on the thinner side than thick, but its perfectly acceptable, people are making it seem like its thinner than a t shirt which it definitely is not. Same quality as cabelas or bass pro bags in my opinon but one third the price minus the weak stitching for the straps. There is no padding and no "hard case" but I use the cardboard tube my rods shipped in and cut them to fit inside the bag. My set up isnt the most expensive so not having the cardboard tube and leaving the reels on the road and transporting them that way isnt the end of the world. I used to just throw them in the back of the truck so this is a major upgrade in the protection aspect. As long as a lets say chair doesnt fall on the bag itll be protected well enough.

I ordered this fishing pole bag at 6'. The bag seems to be made of quality material. However, the bag is heavy and should have some type of insert to help protect the rod from the weight of the bag and to help offer protection for the rod during transport.

This was a solution to getting our fishing poles from our house to our boat without getting lines, tangled or tips broken. Most other rod holders require removing the real, but this makes it very simple. The carrier is very lightweight. Easily accommodate two rods with their reels. Even holds my 11 foot surf casting rod.

The zippers are very poorly made and stitched clearly marked from china overall cheaply made and does not appear it will last long! I was also hoping for a hard plastic shell with fabric overlay but the picture in the description did not look like what I got!!!! Would give no stars if I could! Bring back made in America first of all and quit paying china chump change and then turn around and mark it up 10 fold to sell to Americans!!! Shame on you!!!!

It is not bad for the price. The material is really heavy duty and sturdy. Two big compartments can fit one rod w/ reels in each compartment with possibly more. Some good smaller pockets on the outside. However, the zippers are weak. Already experienced the zippers slipping right out of the box. It is like the zippers are too weak for the thick material if that makes any sense. The quality of construction is just average. We will see if it holds up. Also, it comes directly from China so it may take longer to get.
