I just received this rug and I love how it looks, and feels. Very soft on bare feet. HOWEVER, I failed to look at the material it is made from, 100% polyester. I bought this to rptect my carpet from an area that gets frequent spills, but 100% polyester does not adsorb liquid spills at all, the liquid pools. Not what I wanted and makes me wonder about how washable it really is as I don't see it absorbing water during the wash cycle to clean all the fibers. Anyway, it looks and feels great, and I will keep it and make it work but in the future I will pay closer attention to what type of materials rugs are made out of.
