LiveFresh Stainless Steel Micro-Perforated 5-Quart Colander - Professional Strainer with Heavy Duty Handles and Self-draining Solid Ring Base - Dishwasher Safe

Riveted handles are by far the strongest handles possible for a colander. Don't waste your time with a welded colander that can't handle the strain. It's vital to have a steady base on your colander for safety while pouring hot liquids. Our ring base is stable, even on uneven surfaces. The competition lets water build up in the base while straining. Our colander drains water, even in the base. So you won't drain water touching your food. We use thick, high-quality stainless steel for our colanders. You'll notice that they are much more resistant to bending, breaking, and dents. When it comes to colanders, stainless steel is superior to plastic. It won't leach any chemicals into your food, won't soften or melt with high heat, and allows for more versatility. With a LiveFresh stainless steel colander, you'll have a trusty tool for the long term and you'll keep your family happy and healthy. Our colander is a multitasker. You can use it to rinse vegetables and silverware, drain canned foods, or put it in a pot to steam vegetables. One of our favorite uses is to flip it over and place it over your frying pan to prevent grease splatter! You will love the flexibility. At LiveFresh, we obsess over the details to make the finest tools possible. Our colanders have smoothed holes so they won't snag your towels during cleaning. We added ergonomic handles with thumb recesses for added comfort. You'll benefit from our constant drive for perfection every time you use your strainer.
