The rug is very soft and very pretty, but it is quite thin. One might want a rug pad with it, although I myself do not feel the need for it. There is a tiny pull on one edge already which is probably easily fixable.

The media could not be loaded. Update to what I wrote below: we’ve only had this rug a couple weeks and the color is completely fading off on spots. I noted it wasn’t screen printed but what it is, is color is only on the very tips of the fibers so it fades off fast. And the material is almost like a fleece so it basically disintegrates. I anticipate in a few months the color will be completely eroded if it’s already gone in such big parts (see latest up close pics). Original review: I didn’t have high expectations but I needed to switch out my rug to something thinner because my dog sheds alot, and I didn’t have a lot to spend. This rug exceeds my expectations. It’s super soft and the colors are vibrant. As you can see from the video it does have texture and isn’t completely flat. I was worried it was gonna be screen printed and no texture at all. There are ripples from being folded but they’re not bad at all and I expect it will go away in a few weeks. No weird smell either. My dog smells EVERYTHING and he hasn’t sniffed it once. Really happy with this rug.

The value, style, true to picture, ease in set up… I’d buy this again in a heartbeat! The only question will be durability, so time will tell! Update: absolutely beautiful rug- so soft and lovely… but you can’t vacuum it. It’s too thin and get sucked up even on the lowest setting. That was a no go for me and I did return it.
