If the dirty water reservoir tank is not seated 100% perfectly, the machine winds up spewing the dirty water through the exhaust vents- which spreads the mess farther and wider than it initially was. "Just be sure the dirty water tank is seated correctly then!" you say? Easier said then done. There is no 'click' or 'snap' of the tank into place... you just 'place' over the input, and hope that the vacuum action seals it correctly. If anything is not balanced or if the bottom piece is 1 degree off... it doesn't seal, and you have a disaster. I hate this thing.

I have three dogs and seven birds. Stuff gets dirty. I ONLY have this carpet I took a break and I'm not done, but this does work. 4 stars, because it doesn't heat up, at all. Water going everywhere would be user error. I bought this after my friend who did car detailing said a spot cleaner is what I wanted for light carpet and furniture. I don't really like using a lot of chemicals so I just put a couple drops of dawn dish soap in it. Works great. I caught it on sale somewhere else, hated the store (wanted the price) and I decided my review would be bettet spent on a product that didn't have any images. You do have to use some elbow grease if you're planning on cleaning carpeted stairs, but it definitely works and It's getting the dog done. One of my dogs had an accident on their bed today and the bristles didn't messy up the medium faux fur on it. I like the bristles they're gentle, but get what needs done, done. My only real complaint is that you have to be careful taking the dirty water container off! If you accidentally slosh the water from top to bottom dirty water leaks very easily. The dirty water container IS NOT easy to clean. You can see all of the dog hair that's in their from the picture, right? It's still in there. There's a single screw at the bottom of the dirty water container that needs to come undone to clean in. The dog hair isn't built up enough to stop me from finishing the stairs, but I wish there was an easier way to rinse it when I'm dumping it. There's a little pop tab on each container and the non screwed opening is just way too small. I tried sloshing the water around to get the dog hair out the small opening and boom, dirty water on my shirt. Besides the dirty water issue I really enjoyed using this. I'm pretty sure this is an older model. Who ever is running the Amazon page, top leading stores aren't selling this spacific model anywhere near THAT price. Y'all should kinda feel ashamed. I don't want to violate Amazon's policies, but yeah that's so morally wrong on you.

Much better than another brand we tried. Suction is great and got put older set in stains (using the same solution we have used for our bigger upright machine). Love this for the random kid messes that pop up. Oh! And for the new kitten we’ve adopted.

An entire coffee spilled on the front seat/floorboard of my car today. This little guy worked like a CHAMP!! It’s a great size for use in cars, I just wish the tube was a little bit longer; I needed someone to hold the machine for me so I could use both hands to scrub the seat with the vacuum end, but other than that, it did a great job getting all of the coffee. (And how satisfying is it to watch all of the brown liquid come through the tube until it turns clear!! I’m a weirdo, I know, but that was just a good feeling.) Anyway, I borrowed this from a friend today and will definitely be buying one today for myself!
