This little guy is a beast! Worth the money. Only con is that the front housing nipples (suction & return) broke off after 1 year and a month. Hopefully the seller can send me a replacement housing. Thanks for listening.

Mine came with a power cord gash that went through the outer covering and into the wire insulation, but didn't seem to expose copper. My pump isn't submerged so I just electrical taped it.

This is a pump we have purchased in the past. We were very pleased with it for use in our backyard pond, however after several years of good service the pump needed to be replaced so we replaced it with the exact same model.

Very poor solids handling capability. It really struggles when submerged in a pond. Small fir needles clog up the impeller very quickly. I added an inlet screen, but even small organic detritus causes the pump to slow down gradually. It needs to be back flushed daily just to keep any acceptable output volume. It's really a shame because the Little Giant pump that this one replaced was an awesome workhorse; it kept running full force even when buried in the muck! ... show more

    • Poor solids handling ability
The power consumption of this pump is excellent, but the solids handling ability is quite poor. I'm having to hook a skimmer up to the intake so that it will stop clogging.
