These shorts are really lightweight and comfortable. They run large - I ordered a small and it’s really big but so comfy I kept them and ordered an extra small. There are lots of pockets but not bulky ones like cargo shorts.

I love these shorts! The fabric is very lightweight, but sturdy, they are moisture wicking and water resistant, although not water proof. The fit is easy and relaxed, without looking baggy, and the length is about 3 inches above the knees. I’m 5’6, weigh 155, and the medium fits beautifully. The elastic inserts in the waist band make the button and zipper a bit superfluous, which makes the included belt handy for assuring snug fit around the waist. One minor complaint is the button seems to be on the opposite side than on most women’s shorts and pants. I wore these hiking for the first time this weekend for a three mile hike ascending 1000 feet elevation on very rocky trail, in very muggy weather. The shorts did get sweat drenched, but I stayed comfortable and they dried out quickly. These shorts are a great purchase! ... show more

I like the shorts. I tried them on when I got them. They did not seem to fit like an x-large normally would on me. They felt tight and uncomfortable. I thought I need to loose a few pounds and they will fit better. I put them through a cold wash on delicate and a low dry cycle. After washing and drying, on closer inspection I discovered that the back right pocket was sewn into the back side seam. B that time I couldn't return them. I should have inspected them more closely.To solve the problem, I cut the pocket away from the side seam and zig zagged a new seam on the pocket.The pocket is a little misshapen but no one sees it. They fit great now. In all, I am happy with the shorts. If they weren't defective when they came from Little Donkey Andy, I would be 100% happy. ... show more

They're super lightweight and feel so comfortable when it's hot out. If you're sitting on a leather seat or plastic for a while, it will get a tad sticky, but still some of the best shorts I own. I loved these khaki shorts that I bought a while back and decided to order them again in different colors. The tags are completely different and the sizing, for the exact same size, is a bit off. I ordered the 2x. Other than the sizing, the quality is great. It even comes with a belt, if you need it. If you're a hiker or like to go fishing or camping, these are for you! ... show more

These shorts are super-comfortable and quick-dry. I got the XXL based on the Amazon recommendation but I think I could've easily gone with XL, which is my usual size. My quibbles with this style are 1: they make swishy sounds when you walk and 2: the front pockets need to be more on the sides. Putting anything in the pockets (including your hands) means the items sit right where your hips bend, so it's uncomfortable, especially with something bigger, like a phone. I wish they'd put 2 pockets on the back and move the front pockets to the side where they would normally be. ... show more
