Strong, well-built unit. Can be used with an existing junction box but it has to be partially taken apart to remove the bottom piece. I installed one with an existing box and one as its own, and they truly will keep the weather out of the inside.

Exactly what we needed - fully sealed

I was looking for a fully sealed light fixture to install under a deck. I bought a different fixture that was supposed to work in "wet" areas, but it was not fully sealed and ended up getting water in it and shorted out. This fixture, is actually sealed and has rubber gaskets where the parts connect. I am very happy with it. After rain, it is still dry and working. The one thing I wasn't thrilled about is how far down it hangs, but now that it is installed, it it looks better than I thought it would. It comes with the junction box, but it worked fine with the junction box that was already in place, so I did not need it. I would definitely consider buying these again if I needed them.
