The price was super affordable such that I felt it was worthwhile to get for my 10 year old who might ultimately break it by accident. This was a great price for something I felt I needed for the part time crafting I do but wasn't ready to invest more than the $20 I spent. I can use my portable battery pack to power it and the size is perfect. It provides great lighting for weeding my vinyl projects and card cutouts.

The media could not be loaded. pro: * light weight - board is quite thin and nicely designed with ruler on 2 of the 4 sides * lighting is dimmable so you can adjust it gradually from the softest to brightest * one click to turn it off instead of traversing to all the light options * it remembers your last setting so when you turn it on again, the board is brightened up the the level you left last time when it was on con: * power cord is black and plug is positioned toward the user (see video) that can get into the way slightly, but not too big of a deal * easy to accidentally change the lighting - the power button is quite sensitive that when you touch it very gently, it'll change the dimmer up or down. and it's trick to reset back to the exact same dimmer as last time because there is no discrete mark anywhere. * wish there is a button you can "lock" the dimmer so it doesn't get auto-adjusted whenever you touch the power button ... show more

I got this for $15 and honestly, that's a perfect price in my opinion. It's super lightweight. I've thrown it in my backpack countless times and have had zero problems. The lighting is easily adjustable and convenient. The charger is easily replaceable. I use it for weeding vinyl from Cricut projects and I can't believe I ever spent my time weeding without this. I'll never be able to go back! It's a mandatory part of the weeding process now. Personally, I just use a little painters or masking tape to tape my project down onto the light board. It comes off easily without causing any damage. I really don't take care of my light board...like at all. And it's still running strong! If something happened to my current one, I'd order this exact same one in a heartbeat. ... show more

I was waiting on purchasing this when I got an alert for a flash sale. I grabbed this and it came 2 days later. What I like about it is the brightness levels can be toggled low to high and "high" is very bright! I included 2 photos, 1 with just the image I wanted to draw and the second photo with a decent watercolor paper over my image. As you can see it's very visible which makes tracing a breeze. Even more so if you are working in a low light situation. The tracing tray is light, thin, sturdy and works great so far! The only remark I have is a suggestion that they think about including an electric cord that is double the length for convenience. As of now, my cord is stretched and plugged into an extension cord because my art table is so high. Other than that, it's a problem easily worked around and I feel this is a must buy if you have been thinking about getting one of these. I love mine! ... show more

I like that I can store all supplies in one case. The light pad is super light, and you can adjust the brightness up an down to any brightness level you like. This is way better than the units that only have 3 settings. It will remember the last used brightness. The A4 letter size in compact, but not too small.
