Works Great! I've been using a strap wrench on my 7.3L Ford Power Stroke. Just used this wrench and it's a huge improvement. Grips much better and makes for a quick oil change. This size is perfect for the FL-1995 filter used on the 7.3L I don't know why I didn't buy one of these sooner.

    • Very strong didn’t break or slip even with a 2 foot cheater pipe.
Just managed to take off a super stuck fleetguard lf254 fuel filter with 2 of this wrench at the same time. The filter is complete smashed afterward but both of the wrenches are still perfectly fine even after the abuse by a 2 foot cheater pipe. I like the compact size that is much easier to manage in a tight spot than some other wrench. If this couldn’t take off a stuck filter, double up even triple up will get it off. Bought this to change the fuel filter in my Duramax and it worked fine. It was a little difficult to get the wrench to tighten on the filter but it worked fine. The filter is difficult to access in a Duramax and before I purchased this I had to pull the inner fender to change the filter.

I've destroyed a slew of this type of filter wrench. the Lisle line of tools are not as elegant as says Snap On, but they are very good and very sturdy. These wrenches get 'r dun.

Great wrench. Bought it to change the oil filter on a 7.3L Power Stroke and it worked perfectly. Feels like a pretty sturdy tool that should hold up well over time. Good price.
