In this day and age of overpriced junk, finding a product that is worth even close to what the manufacturers ask is hard, so when one IS found it should be noted. This stand is simply great! It pivots, swivels and telescopes!!! I don't give many 5 star reviews, most of them are 3 or lower, but am very impressed with this stand. I use a wallet protector that isn't a quick release and this stand handles it with ease, I can open my phone and easily use it to text and it doesn't fall over, very stable. The lowest height accommodates any charging cord with no issues so using it while charging is also quite handy with no fuss. This stand is sturdy, perfect adjustable heights, ability to hold charger cord in place, 360 degree turns easily, and the color (I got red) is so cheery! Its a red raspberry and with a metallic sheen. Its exactly what I needed for my kitchen to keep it raised while Im using my cutting board. The height is perfect so i dont have to bend or pick it up. I can check everything keeping it in place. It has a screw withe a tool to install it super easily to attach the base to the pole. I love it and dont write reviews unless Im really impressed. This is a well-built product with sturdy construction and a base with real heft. I'm reviewing after having this for a month or two. It doesn't leave my desk, but it feels like it can travel well. The height can be adjusted by a rod that slides up and down a shaft, and the friction feels sufficiently stiff that it won't become loose for awhile, though that may happen after years of use. The phone can also be tilted back, and this feels less stiff (easier to adjust_. Time will tell if it becomes so loose that it won't hold the tilt, but there is a small plastic protrusion that prevents the tilt from going full vertical, so that's good design. I deducted one star because it's marketed as a stand for both tablets and phones and I really don't think it is large enough for a large tablet. I have an iPad Pro with an 11" screen and while this stand has a heavy base, the instability comes from the narrow tray that holds the device. It's only 2" wide and cannot be oriented horizontally, so balancing a large tablet across a 2" section seems like a bad idea. Otherwise, it's a high quality product if using with a phone (or maybe a mini tablet). ... show more
