This stand is exactly that. Easy to place your phone on and just as easy to grab it when you need it. There’s a nice cutout at the bottom, so you can still charge your phone while it’s sitting on the stand, which is a small but really useful detail. This is actually the second one I’ve purchased, because it just does the job without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Assembly is quick and straightforward. Instructions are included, but honestly, you just line up the base with the stand, slide it on, and tighten the screw underneath — done in under a minute. They also include an Allen wrench and two screws, even though you only need one. I appreciate the extra screw for those “just in case” moments. The LISEN cell phone stand is one of those simple things that ends up being way more useful than expected. I use it daily on my desk and it keeps my phone at a comfortable viewing angle for videos, FaceTime, and just checking notifications. The build quality feels solid. It has a nice weight to it so it doesn’t slide around, and the hinge stays in place once you adjust it. You can easily change the angle depending on how you’re sitting, which makes a big difference during longer use. It also works well with different phone sizes, even with a case on. The cutout at the bottom is a nice touch since you can charge your phone while it’s on the stand without awkward positioning. The stand is fined for phones but not as great for tablets. If you try to adjust it so that the tablet is angled up it often just ends up falling and straightening out. I wish there was a way to adjust the back and then tighten it in the position that you want it to stay in If that was an option then this would be great. But it does work really well for phones. I use it while I cook. The back is rubberized so devices stay on it and the little tray underneath is helpful for keeping it balanced. With that one little adjustment of locking the top part into place it would be perfect. If you're using it mostly for a cell phone I recommend it, for a tablet not as much. ... show more
