This olive oil just tastes fantastic. I use it for salad or as a replacement for butter on my bread, or for flying (low temperature) or baking. The bottles are not clear, which helps prevent spoilage, and the twist caps help you pour a good amount of oil and control how much you use. I actually don't mind that this is made from riper olives than it's counterpart. In my opinion, it's more buttery, richer and more approachable and excellent for dipping bread into, just like the kind at an Italian restaurant. The one made from green olives is more bitter and a touch more intense but still very good. Maybe better applied on grilled meats and roasted vegetables after they're done cooking. This is now my goto olive oil.....love the flavor...and the squeeze bottle (smart move on the sellers part). Always loved spanish oilives to munch on and in martinis....now i have spanish olive oil to cook with. Love it....it is now a staple in my pantry.

This is a nice, mild oil for salads or cooking. But what I like best is that you can easily control the stream of oil. Most bottles pour the oil and often too much comes out.
