This is very easy to inflate and very comfortable. I initially overinflated the main section and my head ended up lower than my body. I think the way to do it is to fully inflate it and then release air to get your desired firmness. Inflate with the smaller holes and when you take the pump away you don't lose any air. Use the big holes to deflate and you don't need to use the pump. All 6 of the inflation holes are on the side of the mattress and out of the way. The bottom should hold up to moisture and the top is comfortable to lay on without a blanket or sleeping bag. It's great that you can use it as a single narrow mattress, a wider single mattress, or wide double mattress. This makes it more usable in a crowded car or tent. The two pillows are what I would call a last resort. The case/bag could be a little larger since there will always be some air in it when you fold it up. I managed to get it in but it wasn't easy. If you or the kids sleep in the car, if you go camping, or if you need to an extra place for the grandkids to sleep this is ideal. ... show more

We have been using this several times now on the back of our Tesla SUV. It does not take too long to setup and it's nice to lay down flat in the back with the air condition running. We also used this air mattress at the picnic instead of towels where the kids can lay down in to rest. The material feels nice, lightweight and look durable. Setting up is easy and quick. The air mattress is small enough to store in the back trunk when not in use. It has different air compartments so you can use it on the back seat as well. The handy thing about this is how it fits both a backseat and a van or tent floor. You can use this comfortably in a variety of situations. The pad has 6 different chambers, so if you puncture one part, your whole night isn't ruined- it's easier to patch and less likely to have a structural failure. Got this for the back seat and finding that it's working well with a bit of assistance.. .So if you are having a back seat like mine with a stationary arm rest that does not move, then you can place some folded blankets on the seats to even out the surface.. then place this air mattress on top for a flat laying experience. Also I'm experimenting with it in the back hatch as well although for me it's working best for back seat use only. I love that it comes with it's own pump and patches for emergency repairs.
