Recommend this for anyone. It is easy to set up, works great, and I have had no issues. Using the HDMI and Display Port, LAN and USB connections. I had this completely set up and plugged into my laptop within about 5 minutes.

I almost gave this 4 stars but it works, it did something I didn't expect. A device I use needs to connect to a Bluetooth usbc dongle that's attached to it.. turns out it's compatible with this thing and it works just barely , since the 100 watt charger I plug into it after devices use it and this thing uses it's own power is only left with 2 watts left lol.. it's very compatible but just barely meets the power requirements. Either way it works so 5 stars. It's clear on the description that it will give out less power because it uses some. The number is accurate enough and it does support many many devices so well done. Also very cool to the touch, it doesn't get too hot.

Has a good look and feel, and it does almost everything that I purchased it to do. I hooked up an Ext. BluRay Disc drive using the USB 3.1 and the USB 2.0 ports. I attached a generic USB A Hub to the second USB 2.0 port and inserted an SD card into the larger card slot. The USB-C input cable connects to one of the iMac USB-C ports. Performance is excellent and I am able to access all of the files on the SD Card. One slight disappointment was my inability to connect my older but great sounding Harmon Kardon Speakers/Sub-Woofer via the 3mm plug to the end of this unit. The iMac appeared to recognize it, but I was unable to select the correct speakers from System Settings...Instead, I used a USB-C to 3mm Audio adapter, and the iMac had no trouble recognizing the Sub-woofer and satellite speakers. I took off a Star for that. Other than that...It looks good, it works very well (except for the 3mm input) and I feel that it's worth the money I spent.

Update on 9/10/2024: after I this review, the vendor reached out to me via Amazon to offer a full refund or a replacement. I wanted to give this device, which I really liked when it worked. another chance. It was shipped fast & I received the replacement in 3 days. Great. It worked great, except, 3 of the 5 UDB ports didn't work at all. I have replied to the oroiginal message explsining the issue. That was 3 days ago & no response. I was going to change my rating to 4-stars, but now I leave it as 1-star until this gets resolved. I am happy my HDMI port works & I have 2 working USB ports. But, this is not enough. I will update this review if & when I hear back from the vendor. ---------------------------------------------------- So disappointed. I ordered it on March 2, 2014. It worked great for the 1st 5 months. For the past month the devices connected to the hub have been disconnecting in the middle of use. This means, I lose access to my mouse, additional screen, headset, etc. Rebooting the laptop sometimes works, but not all the times. I have the latest drivers. Starting the labor day weekend, I have no connectivity at all. My laptop only has 1 USB-C & without a USB-C mouse, I am forced to use the trackpad, which I hate & I can't use my external monitor, which I really need for work. I have written to the manufacturer 3 times, but they have ignored me. I paid a lot of money for this unit so i will have a reliable device for work, when I could have paid 15 bucks for the same quality. I will not be purchasing this brand any more.

USB hub has excellent design, compact size, value for money, great build quality, did not power consumptions but the dual monitor connectivity is top notch. Excellent LAN connection which has giving around 800+ Mbps download speed.

Had it since May 2022 and it has been working but it is a bit of a problem. Every so often (maybe once every 2weeks) it stops working and won’t activate any chargers/monitors connected to it and always at the worst times i.e during meetings. I’m at the point now that I am purchasing another docking station.
