This is a nice belt. The belt "as-is" will fit up to a 46-in waist, although smaller waists will have a long tail, it's simple to remove the excess outside tail. The buckle is removed from the belt by popping open a clasp on the backside and sliding off the buckle. Then cut off the amount necessary to reach your waist size with the appropriate length of tail. I removed 11-in to properly fit on my 36-in waist. The listing shows scissors to cut off the excess length, I used a box cutter which worked great. After the cut, I used a lighter to singe the material and prevent it from unraveling. Then slide on the buckle, push down on the clasp and done. The buckle is easy to use and is fully adjustable, as opposed to being limited to a fixed number of holes. Just slide the belt through the buckle to the desired location and it locks in place. To release there's a small lever on the bottom of the buckle. The belt is elastic, but takes a firm pull to get it to stretch. The stretch is about right to allow for body movements. The belt looks good, I got the "Twill Weave" for the additional texture appearance, the other option has a smoother appearance. The buckle is non-descript and because it’s the same color as the belt (for my black belt) it blends in and it's not very noticeable. This works for my tastes, but if you want a shiny buckle, you should look elsewhere. Quality and workmanship both appear to be very good. I really like this belt and it has my recommendation.

I'm not sure what some of the other guys are complaining about in their reviews regarding this belt as I love it. I'm a bigger guy and typically hard to find belts that meets my standards as far as comfort and durability, but this one has to be one of favorites so far. The belt was a little stiff out the package which most belts are until you kinda break them in a little. The belt fit around me no problem which I said I'm a big guy and usually wear around a 42-44" after losing a good amount of weight over the last few months. The belt can be cut to be sized to your liking and instructions are included to show you how to remove the buckle and attach it once the belt has been trimmed so it will get lots of use as I continue to go down in waist size. The material is super durable and the elastic fabric holds well and has no signs of easy tearing and ripping! I will be using this belt mostly for when I wear my hiking/hunting gear as I needed a good strong belt to handle all the moving around I'll be doing as far as bending, kneeling, and whatever else and this belt will withstand it with no issue I feel. It's breathable and will keep moisture from seeping in and ruining the material. The buckle is super strong and made with good quality aluminum alloy and holds the strap in place nice and tight while around your waist. I'm a fan so I'll be looking to these guys in the future when I need another belt.

I love this belt because I find with a "traditional' belt, the perfect fit almost always falls between one of the punched holes. With this belt, it is fully adjustable to whatever tightness you want...and it holds its position. The buckle is solid and keeps the belt locked in until you need to release it and so far, the release lever has worked very well. Cutting this down to the right size was extremely easy and took me less than 30 seconds. Besides the comfort and fit, this belt also looks good and that's important too.

This is just a great belt. Really durable materials, especially the heavy duty buckle. No more trying to find the right hole in my belt. I just slide the webbed belt through the nice looking buckle. Then I pull the belt to the proper length and let it go. It automatically locks in place. And stays put for the entire day. To loosen belt just push on the discreet little lock/unlock mechanism. This beats my traditional belts hands down for comfort, sizing and ease of use. This also came with a ton of extra belt webbing and super easy instructions on how to easily trim it to my size while maintaining the smooth finished sdend of the belt as it comes from the vendor. I'm never going back to a traditional prong & hole belt. Love this. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a sharp looking belt, but does not have the material or quality of an almost 30 dollar belt. The belt works great with a comfortable fit. It comes with directions on how to remove the buckle to cut the belt down to your size.

When I first put this belt on, I was at a loss how to get it off. Unlike a military style nylon belt that I often wear, you cannot pull on the strap to unfasten the buckle, but need to pull a little handle to release the ratchet. Once you get used to it, this is a much better mechanism. The belt is long, but can be cut down to fit, so it is good for all sizes. The nylon, though, is relatively thinner compared to some non-stretch nylon belts. I do prefer a thicker fabric. It does stretch, but it is not stretchy. You need to tighten it to fit like a normal belt. That said, it looks nice and does the job.

The belt is as thick as a leather belt maybe a teensy bit more. I thought it would either be too stretchy and defeat the purpose of a belt or barely stretchy and be a regular belt. Surprisingly it was perfect, the stretchiness was there and held up my pants perfectly without choking my waist too much. The clip on it to hold the belt works great and havent noticed any loosening on it The little handle to open it is small yes but I got used to it and thankfully doesnt hurt my fingers. Overall I'm very happy with the belt.

This belt is slightly stretchy, but only slightly. Its very adjustable, and the ratchet system lets me get it snug but not overly tight, something you can't do with set holes in a belt. The lever release is different, and it took me a bit to figure out what worked best for me so that I didn't hit it sitting down... only happened once, but thankfully that was at home. This is replacing the leather belt that I wear almost every day, so I'm expecting a lot of it. So far, I'm quite happy with it.
