((This is a review of the yarn; Amazon's service was excellent. )) A while back, I was upset with the quality of this Wool Ease- Thick & Quick-- it was sub -par, fuzzy& splitty. This time, it was the only yarn which fit the bill, the tweed Spiced Apple--was what I needed to make a prayer shawl for some one who requested these colors. It is a rich, satisfying tweed, dark russet- think--mulling spices with figs. It is thick, and these weren't splitty or fuzzy. So far, no shedding. Broke down due to price & bought 8 skeins. Each and every one had a knot. Or two.Or A blob of fuzz, and a knot. Or, some combo of each-- or a slub that was messed up on one of the 2 plies. The first five for the first order, I was angry but I was in the middle of the project and I do really like the color. My fault for 1.--not rewinding into new ball. And then 2. ---sending them back. The next three skeins were no better, and I took pictures of these last 3 to demonstrate. I am grateful to buy on Amazon first, because of a knee problem. But Lion Brand, come on! 8 out of 8 skeins with shoddy workmanship? . Thankfully I could cut and weave splices in the worst ones. But the issue is, we are all paying for first quality products, not seconds. If Lion Brand was having production issues with this yarn that's on them and could explain why they don't list this one on their site. But they shouldn't be selling shoddy goods at premium - no defects- prices. Bah humbug. Ooo la la - My Auntie loved the scarf I made her - I don’t use a pattern, it’s a scarf that’s never to be replicated. Lovely yarn. Easy to knit and the black is, the best. Matches everything.

    • Soft, thick, big ... but yarn separates a bit when knitting
I used this yarn when crocheting a scarf, and it works up a quick, big and soft scarf. However, when I used this yarn to knit a scarf, several times the yarn separates a bit. I would give 4.5 stars, but 4 stars seemed so harsh for such nice yarn. Using this yarn for projects is enjoyable!
