  • The Pinnacle of 1DD Budget IEMs: The Cadenza II combines all of Kiwi Ears experience in developing 1 dynamic driver in-ear monitors. From the latest dynamic driver, the utilization of KARS 2.0, unparalleled tonal balance, and premium build quality, the Cadenza II makes no compromises despite its affordable price.
  • KARS 2.0: Cadenza II debuts next-gen Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System: KARS 2.0. Optimized for greater efficiency, better integrated into the acoustic design, and precise low-end tuning, it elevates performance. With KARS 2.0, the Cadenza II boasts pin-point sub-bass: 8dB powerful lows, precisely cutting off at 200Hz for clean, subwoofer-true clarity. New to KARS 2.0, the low-midrange is delicately tuned, a 300~400Hz bump fits modern tuning tastes, delivering lush, uncolored midrange warmth
  • New Titanium-Coated Diaphragm Driver: To maximize technicalities and sound quality, a new dynamic driver has been developed. A new titanium-coated polyethylene terephthalate diaphragm, which combines the strength of titanium with the fluidity of polyethylene terephthalate was developed. Combined with a new powerful magnetic array structure, this dynamic driver provides the highest technicalities and resolution among Kiwi Ears dynamic drivers so far.
  • Unparalleled Tonal Superiority: Cadenza II was painstakingly tuned, first redesigning KARS 2.0 to match the new dynamic driver, with adjustments at the micrometer scale to perfectly tune the subbass. The midrange required a slight hump to bring out vocal warmth and lushness, which perfectly balances neutrality without being sterile. Treble peaks perfectly at 3kHz - a feat requiring us to go back and redesign the acoustic structure of the driver itself. The treble decay is smooth and extended
  • Premium Construction: To showcase its premium sound, the Cadenza II had to look and feel as elegant. The shell material has been upgraded to a durable polycarbonate composite, which is stronger than typical resin or plastic, while offering a lush velvet-like texture to the touch. The faceplate is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and laser engraved to achieve a subtle, yet distinct honeycomb design.
  • Detachable Cable System: The Cadenza II comes equipped with a 2-pin 0.78mm detachable cable system. Composed of single-crystal oxygen-free copper wires, the cable allows noise-free crystal clear signal transmission. You can mix and match different cables with the Cadenza II to fit your preferences, as well as extend the longevity of the IEM.

  • Outstanding Value and Smooth, Balanced Sound!
Color: Grey
I picked up the grey version of the Kiwi Ears Cadenza II along with a USB C adapter, and I have been genuinely impressed with the performance for the price. This set feels like a major step forward in the budget IEM space. The tuning is where these really shine. The sound signature is very balanced and natural, staying true to a neutral profile while still being engaging and musical. Mids are smooth and clear, vocals come through beautifully, and instruments like guitars, brass, and piano sound especially lifelike. The bass has a satisfying thump without overwhelming the mix, and the overall presentation makes long listening sessions very comfortable. Soundstage is surprisingly wide for an IEM in this range, which gives music a nice sense of space. Acoustic, indie, jazz, and vocal tracks in particular sound excellent. While treble is intentionally kept on the smoother side, that also means there is very little fatigue even after hours of use. Build quality is another strong point. The shell feels solid and well made, and the included cable is easily one of the better stock cables at this price tier. The design is understated but mature, and the fit is lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. Overall, I think the Cadenza II strikes a great balance between neutrality, comfort, and musical enjoyment. If your library leans toward vocals, acoustic, jazz, or easy listening, these hit a real sweet spot. For the price, they are an easy recommendation and a great benchmark for what a budget IEM can deliver. ... show more

  • Probably the best deal in In-Ear Hifi right now
Color: Blue
I was really surprised by this IEM. Not only is this a huge improvement over the original Cadenza, it's a revolution in the budget IEM market as a whole. The tuning of this IEM is pretty close to perfect for me, and fixes my main issue with the original. What both versions have in common as they are both targeting neutrality and long-listening comfort. They both achieve this by keeping the treble tame. But I think they pushed that line a little too hard in the original. So while the original was very listenable, it lacked engagement. The Cadenza two adjusts that tuning just enough to where the tuning is very listenable, but also very engaging. This set is still very much a neutral set, and I would even say it could be useful in professional audio work applications, because of how comfortable, and neutral it is. But it’s equally suited for music enjoyment, particularly if you prefer a neutral signature (which I do!). I have owned and listened to many sets of IEMs far more expensive and technically more impressive than this set, but I stop using most of them because the tuning sounds strange or even painful. But this IEM is going to stick around as my benchmark for tuning. As you might expect from an IEM in this price range, using a single dynamic driver, the technicalities are not going to be on par with a multiriver set-up using specialized electrets or planar drivers, but I do have to say, I’m still impressed with the detail that this set is able to push out. And the tuning is so sweet and engaging that I don't even miss that last mile of precision a higher end set might offer. The sense of detail is also greatly assisted by a very competent imaging ability, which creates the sense of more detail, and helps my brain close those detail gaps. The soundstage on this IEM is not massive, with a width that sounds moderately close to your head, but I do find the imaging is superb. The sound is enveloping, and feels like the music is coming from many points all around you. And even though the field isn't massive, I can hear very precise movement shifts in pretty much all directions. This is definitely not the level of imaging I’m used to hearing out of budget sets, which is even more impressive by the fact that it's not relying on enhanced treble to create this effect. This set sounds exceptionally 3-dimensional, and even on very flat mixes this set still feels immersive. The Cadenza 2 is superbly natural, engaging, and immersive. Kiwi Ears has captured a near perfect neutral tuning that has become rare in the in-ear audio world. I've tried sets far more expensive that have amazing technicalities but fall far short of approachable tuning. I’d love to see more sets follow in the footsteps of this tuning style, and I hope to see this tuning philosophy ascend to their higher-end line up of products. This IEM is an amazing value product, and is truly a firm stepping stone on the road to end-game audio, and an amazing product in its own right. ... show more

  • DIY project with payoff.
Color: Blue
One bad point is that each ear piece does not have left and right labelled. So when you have to attach the pre moulded (into hooks to put over each ear) wires to each piece (which IS labelled) you have to use your brain and fiddle a bit to figure out how which one fits into which ear (instructions it came with said it was labelled - it was not) and which orientation to fit it. Also you also have to pick which ear mould size to attach to each ear piece, which is also not done for you. The sizes were not packed separately so you had to choose which silicone bit fit your ear and then pop it on the ear piece sound grate (also not an easy process). A bit of finger dexterity needed here (plus a you tube how to video for reference). Once that is all over, the buds sound awesome. The ear holes do not hurt after several hours of use (other buds/majority) I have used would definitely have forced me to remove them well before this. The fit is awesome, in that once it is inserted (picked a larger size than you think it should be) it didn't slip out and the sound isolation was very good. Over all feeling was comfortable, you know it's there but you don't mind it. Do not use it, if you want to know what's going on around you (i.e out and about, cause you gonna get run over by the vehicle that you just didn't hear coming at you). A bit of brains needed as well as DIY for set-up. For this price point really good quality in materials, construction and sound. ... show more

  • This is an excellent IEM period!
Color: Blue
These IEMs are excellent across the board. bass is "just right" in its ability to convey the lows with just the right heft, but it is not overbearing. Mids are truly "there". Treble is very good, but just a touch light without the shimmer or sizzle. I really am enjoying these. The comfort is superlative. Listening for long sessions is a non-issue. The cord is the best I have ever received with an IEM! I mean this. It is really high quality. At under $50.00 they are excellent. Kiwi have a true winner in this product. On a scale of 5 stars being the top score, I can honestly give them a 4.5 rating. In my opinion, they are an absolute value! ... show more
