you must get exactly to the cm if buiding in a small case the length ov said riser cable too short huge stress on cable and couldnt even screw down at back ov case graphics card to case too long could hit the top case fans if you have a AIO which i did i actaully had to glue down even with the near perfect length riser cable as in my small mini itx case still the cable would contact the fan but i sucesffuly did so was not so easy to do than there whcih one do you need 180 or reverse or double reverse? there are also very good reasons pcie 4 riser cables cost what they do its quite complicated ensuring all that bandwith makes it to the card this is a great company to buy from i had first given too short a cable and then very fast fedex and new better length cable so although dealing with pci e 4 riser cables a huge pain this company LINKUP you want to buy from as they will help you if troubles arIse

Replaced the Gen3 riser cable that came with my case (SSUPD Meshlicious). AMD RX6800 installed and was having issues, random stutters and no video on warm reboots. In addition to the problems with Auto setting in BIOS causing you to have no video at all. Everything cleared up when I installed this and set it to Gen4.

I’m going to give this five stars. This was a perfect replacement for the riser cable that failed in my Phanteks Evolv Shift X. The only downside is that I wish that there was some sort of standard when it came to height of the actual mounting system. Without being shimmed my RTX 3080ti FTW3 would not seat completely as it is mounted in a cage that slides left and right with the IO shield pointing upward. Phaneks did not have an adequate replacement for what was a common issue with the failed risers in the early models, mine failing after warranty expired. The plus side is that this riser brand is being used in many custom small form factor cases and is trusted by them. The build quality is excellent and after finding some washers to raise the mounting height everything worked fine. Linkup should address this in a revision. Perhaps some sort of set of spacers to alter the height by a few millimeters along with longer mounting screws. Overall though despite the little issues I’d definitely recommend these for your riser solution.

Cable is solid, detects at 4.0 every boot so far without issues after several months of regular use. Replaced a 3.0 cable that came with my Jonsplus i100 case after getting frustrated inconsistent boot failures after a BIOS reset. This has been completely solid and was a direct fit in the case.

I first started out trying to find a correct PCIe Gen 4 cable to fit my Jonsbo VR3 since when I bought the case it only came with a Gen 3 cable. I reached out the LINKUP customer support to see which cable would work for my case. They informed me that this cable would work in my case, however upon receiving the cable it would not work at all in the case do to the tight tolerances in the case. I can't fully blame the customer support for not knowing if it would fit in the case because I doubt they test the plethora of cables they make in every case on the market but just a sure it will fit is not the way to go. However it is a really well made cable and didn't cause any issues when I tested it outside the case. So make sure you really measure before you buy one of these cables for your application.
