What’s wrong with a little truth in advertising? I bought this cover specifically because it is advertised as waterproof. Well, we had a calm rain last night. I got up this morning to check on my table, and the cover was snuggly in place. However, upon lifting it off I was disappointed to find the table to be wet from one corner to the other - nicely warped too. If it was worth suing this company, I would. I have had many, many satisfying Amazon transactions, but this was not one of them. Thank you Amazon, for allowing us consumers to bring our reviews to the table so that others may know the truth. There is no excuse for the lies. I call Liar!

This cover was made to be used outdoors on an outdoor table, however, when I used it the paint lines in the Joola ping pong table 'melted' to the cover and then the next time it was placed no the table transferred back onto the table in a slightly different direction. I contacted Joola and they had not had anyone report a problem like this before, but it may have been caused by the direct heat/sun in Michigan in the summer. they have notified their design team and will not be manufacturing anymore of this design due to the issue and will be working to create a new cover that will be able to withstand the heat or advise not to use in direct sun in the future. The support that was provided by Amazon and Joola was great as they sent me a replacement table due to the problem caused by the cover. I would recommend Joola in the future as they do stand behind their products!

Super annoyed at this product. First time I went to move my ping pong table, this item ripped right in the corner, top piece. Boom! Gone. Product is no longer capable of protecting the table from water or dust. This cover was too big for my table, so it hung too loose, which made it bulky to move. Since the corner of the table did not fit into the corner of the cover, it is likely the corner pierced the canvas. Not a product I'd recommend buying as the velcro pieces and ties made it difficult to navigate around the table. A simple tarp works better and is much cheaper.

Together with an outoor JOOLA table, we bought in Apil 2019 this cover assuming it is of good quality. Five month later the cover has gapping defects as shown in the picture (a prior slit that appeared already after 2 months (further down) is held together by an adhesive tape). JOOLA’s table cover was removed from the table around 10 times over the the past 5 months. In comparison our BBQ cover was removed over 100 times over the past 4 years, and shows no defect whatsoever. Also it does not show the fainting discolaration from black to grey as the JOLLA table cover. Amazon refunded us the money today on their own accord, which is very kind. Now, we are just only troubled about the quality of this expensive table. Could it be that JOLLA has lost its quality standard?

To begin with, this is designed for indoor application only. It would never hold up to the exterior elements of wind, rain, morning condensation, etc. I believe the description of the product will also tell you it is for indoor application. As an indoor protective covering it appears to work fine to keep dust and debris off the top of it. It is very lightweight and looks ok. However, I placed a few drops of water on it to see how well it repelled moisture. It failed miserably. Water soaked through to the other side immediately. Unfortunately for me that was my primary concern. My last table was ruined over years of Coke cans and other items leaving water stains behind. I have attached a few pictures so you could see what it looks like when it is placed on an open table. If you are using this to cover a Ping Pong table indoors and you simply want to keep dust a debris off of it then this will be the right product for you.

The selling point to this cover is it can be applied to the ping-pong table in both the folded up position, and the table-open position. The straps hold down well in wind in the table-open position. With the table folded up, the covers slip over each side, fit snug and stay in place without using the straps. In this configuration, the velcro closes the sides. The straps just hang unused in the folded position. There was confusion at first because the straps seem to have no use in the table folded up position. Not until you use the cover in the table-open position does their use/positioning become apparent. Good product for keeping the table protected from dust, dirt, sun and driving rain, but they are really stretching things to call it waterproof. Be advised that it does not keep moisture out, so you need to have an outdoor ready ping-pong table. I suppose water cannot penetrate the material itself, but how its applied to the table leaves edges, undersides, etc., exposed and moisture WILL GET to the table. Period.

I purchased this cover to keep dust and dirt off my new Joola outdoor ping pong table. I have been using the cover for a week and so far it is working well. Pros... Fits Joola table tennis table Heavyweight Easy to put on Velcro sides allow cover to be used in playing or storage mode Cons Only should be used on outdoor tables Does not completely protect the table (I can’t imagine any cover would completely protect) Tips... You cannot store an indoor table outdoors, it will never work, I don’t care what cover you purchase. Indoor tables are made of particle board or plywood and CANNOT get wet. If you need to store a ping pong table outdoors, buy an outdoor table made of sheet metal. Measure your table before you purchase to make sure the cover will fit.
