I'm using this adapter on an older Dell Inspiron 17 Laptop and my internet speed has doubled, I'm actually getting the actual speed that I'm paying for. I've done a number of speedtests all over the house and consistently get between 95 and 110 Mbps as before I was getting between 45 and 55 Mbps. So far very happy with it. ... show more

    • Unnecessarily confusing and bad in all ways
First of all in the instructions it says the chip will automatically install when you plug it in assuming you don’t have WiFi hence the reason your getting a WiFi chip, but that didn’t work for me so I had to go to my friends house, download the chip onto a separate usb and use the new usb and that worked. The WiFi it gives you is very bad, so I just bought a very long Ethernet cable to stretch but Ethernet downloads things slow so I used the WiFi chip but both Ethernet and the chip had bad WiFi so I tried using both to get double the signal and that worked but with a bad signal for about a week and then I was playing with my friends and the WiFi cut out and disconnected me from all my apps and killed my router.
