This fan works great. Idk why people are saying otherwise (unless you got a bad one, it happens.) I had to get this because my PS4 was super loud, sounding like it was about to explode, & would also say "ps4 is too hot" and the light on the ps4 would turn red. But honestly, since I've had this fan connected for a month, I've haf absolutely no problems. At all, with anything. All it does is press against the backside of the PS, not a vety good hold BUT as long as you aren't messing with it it should stay. My PS4 no longer sounds like it's about to blow up, not anymore issues with being hot... (P.S. the PS I have is an older version, I'm guessing about maybe a yr or 2 after they came out, & were trying to play the newest games on it. Ex. Metal gear, monster hunter, star wars, COD. ) Overall, this fan is awesome. $20 well spent. ... show more

    • Hey thats pretty good
I've had mine for about a year now and it does me pretty good. Its a little noisy but not too bad at all, its way quieter than the ps4 itself. If i play cod for 30 minutes without the fan it overheats, if the fan it never overheats and i can play for hours without it shutting the game down because of overheating. Idk definitely worth the price tho. ... show more

    • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This is pure garbage. We've had this a little over a month and already the pads that hold the unit snug against the PS4 are worn to the point it doesn't stay in place. The fans are EXTREMELY loud. While I understand there will be noise due to the fans running, when the noise is so intrusive we can hear it through the headphones it becomes a nuisance. Two of the five fans have quit already. The unit stays in place by way of leverage and wedging. As the unit heats up the adhesive holding the pads melts and the pads slide, in turn allowing the "cooling" unit to come away from contacting the rear of the PS4 therefore NOT cooling the PS4. Just stay away from this init. We have purchased a Zacro and will review it after a month. ... show more

    • If u place em on auto they will turn off on rest mode.
Fans works pretty well keep they fan on the ps4 from working too hard and keeps the ps4 cool during gameplay. The fan noise level is in the medium range at overdrive its a lil loud not unbearable i noticed that the playstation fan barely turns on since in pulls out the hot air. When set to auto theres a small loud hiss when they start up at low speed idk if its normal or a factory defect might be a bearing or something. Sometimes it's pretty cool since it keeps the playstation cool and sounds like a nitrous injection from fast and furious . I wouldn't recommend leaving it on overdrive all the time though since the small fan bearings might wear quicker. Overall it's a good product for the price since it helps the air move around the playstation keeping dust from building up in the interior. Some people say it's unnecessary but since I've started using it my playstation fan works less hard. Over all 4 out of 5 makes playstation live a quarter mile at a time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have had this thing for one day so i will update if things change. It already doesn’t sit flush on the back. I have to use duct tape to make it stay secure. The noise is crazy loud. I included a video where you can hear the fan sound and I turn it off so you can hear just the ps4 fan. It’s significant, and it’s not even on turbo. There is a turbo setting that is even louder. That being said, it does keep the ps4 cooler. When I turn it off to hear my ps4 fans, my ps4 is very quiet when normally the fans are going like a jet engine. So it is working well at keeping the ps4 cool but these fans are louder than the ps4 when the fans are at a high rpm. For a cheap fan this is perfect at protecting your ps4 from overheating, it is just so darn loud. ... show more

I tried a different solution that did not worked as advertised , the I saw this device . I’m very pleased the way it works . It does help with the cooling of my PS4 . I never expected this device to make the PS4 be completely silent as when it came out . But it definitely reduced the fan noise in my PS4 console. ... show more

    • Originally Arrived Defective, BUT...
The seller was quick to respond to my original review without me asking them to. They were quick to offer a replacement. As promised, here is my revised review. The fan does work. It does cool down the PS4. It is easy to install with no tools needed. The cord is much too short which requires you to plug it into the second USB making you choose between two controllers or the fan. But, as for the seller, LinkStyle gets a solid 5-star rating. Their promptness was very impressive. And they delivered promptly with no questions asked. The replacement works as described. It would be nice if more sellers were this attentive to issues with their products. EDIT: 2 MONTHS LATER: This thing is absolute and pure garbage. Period! I've had two of these things, one I purchased and another they sent to replace my purchase, and it does not do what it's intended to do. Two of the fans have gone out. When winding up at first start it makes a horrible whiny noise and cannot seem to get started. when it does get started it does nothing it's supposed to do and that's cool the inside of your PS4. I'd ask for my money back but it's not worth it. I'll just write a review and they can deal with the money situation that way. PURE GARBAGE. ... show more

Love the price, slipped right on the back of my original 500gb PS4. It’s not going to solve an overheating system, but it’s great to mitigate the heat and noise these older systems make. Very quiet itself and kept my PS4 quieter. Didn’t expect it to move a huge amount of air, but was impressed with how much it actually moves on “turbo.” If it’s off the PS4 seems to easily push hot air through it well enough not cause any issues. Love the auto feature. On auto it comes on before the PS4 gets loud and if you “rest” the PS4 it stays on a bit till the system is cool. Heat and vibration of the system cause it to loosen a bit from where it’s supposed to be so I sticker bombed it to keep it in place. ... show more
