Very easy to put on. Slips right in. Looks sleek. But it is a little noisy. And I have to turn up my volume a bit to compensate. It has 3 modes. Off/auto/on. And I don't know if my auto is broke or unnecessary, because it didn't come on when I was playing GTA online. So I switched it to on. Only draw back is that you have to plug it into a USB slot. Which for me, until I get a hub or controller holder with USB port, means the front of the ps4. And that uses the port up, so nothing else can be plugged in, and looks tacky. But the price is good. Fans work great really good improvement, USB cord is long enough to plug into the USB jack on the ps4. Only down side is fans are super noisy at times (like you have an rc drone just flying behind it) but again they do work on pulling excess heat out of the system

About 2 years of nonstop running on my ps4 that I have a upgraded storage module on running a 4tb SSD instead of the old 500gb HHD and iv noticed my ps4 running hotter with that so this has helped keep it cool when the internal fan is not enough to do it

Fans works pretty well keep they fan on the ps4 from working too hard and keeps the ps4 cool during gameplay. The fan noise level is in the medium range at overdrive its a lil loud not unbearable i noticed that the playstation fan barely turns on since in pulls out the hot air. When set to auto theres a small loud hiss when they start up at low speed idk if its normal or a factory defect might be a bearing or something. Sometimes it's pretty cool since it keeps the playstation cool and sounds like a nitrous injection from fast and furious . I wouldn't recommend leaving it on overdrive all the time though since the small fan bearings might wear quicker. Overall it's a good product for the price since it helps the air move around the playstation keeping dust from building up in the interior. Some people say it's unnecessary but since I've started using it my playstation fan works less hard. Over all 4 out of 5 makes playstation live a quarter mile at a time. ... show more

I read several reviews about this item being noisy, I found it was only very slightly louder than the normal PS4 fans, and nothing like when the PS4 fans are running on high speed. Attachment to the PS4 was not very secure but is okay if the unit is not moved. Slightly confusing instructions which have been converted to English. Turbo button seems to mean high speed or low speed. Update: Had this for a couple of weeks now and it has started making high pitched noises sometimes. Also when the PS4 is turned off in standby mode the unit will spin up the fans about every second for several minutes, it's loud enough to be annoying if trying to watch TV. Hope it lasts! UPDATE: After 18 months one of the small fans is turning slowly and making a humming noise, probably needs replacing, but 18 months of not having the noise of the PS4 on high speed was worth it! ... show more
