I ordered this pack of bulbs because they were so cheap compared to other Smart Bulbs. I then read reviews and was worried about ease of integration with Alexa. I tried to cancel. Too late. I'm so happy! I am 72 and severely disabled and these were easy to set up and have many more features than a regular smart bulb. First of all, for all the gripers who don't want to download another app (75mb) too bad... You will lose out on many, many features like having the light bounce to your music! Download and never open the app again and it will still work smoothly with Alexa, You can turn on and off, change colors and dim the light or make it warm or white. It just won't do all the other fancy things. STEP ONE download the AI Dot app. STEP TWO create a new account on the app STEP THREE link the app with Alexa. STEP four open Alexa and give permission to coordinate with the app STEP FIVE screw your new light bulb in your lamp and switch it on. It will go through a range of colors and end up at white. STEP SIX open AI Dot and it will find the bulb. Click the check box. STEP SEVEN rename the bulb (otherwise you will have to say, "Alexa, turn on RGB-5478135-9753 each time you want to use it.) I named mine "kitchen" and the second one "bathroom." Do it this way and you don't have to scan the code or anything. Now, just say, "Alexa, turn on the kitchen." and that's it!

I ordered the light bulb because they work with HomeKit and google home. They worked right away with the app for linkind but not with Apple HomeKit . I had to manually put code in for each light bulb. After that it worked great. When I did it for google home it took it right away with no problem. The colors are nice it’s the brightest my bedroom has ever been.

Does not work with Apple Home. Had to download AiDot app. Otherwise works great and was easy to setup. I just really did not want to download yet another app. This was the second company I ordered from that advertised it worked with Apple Home and the version I was sent did not. I recommend an option to check the app you’re looking for the product to work with.

Despite "Matter" certified, could not be installed with Alexa or SmartThings directly... spent hours before resorting to installing another unwelcome device-specific app on the phone to finally get connection. UPDATE 2 Oct: Customer service was responsive and helpful. Able to connect via Alexa, issues remain at SmartThings, appears to be at Samsung side of connection.

Lights pair very easily with Alexa. Bulb is slightly shorter than others so it doesn't stick out from the bottom of a mini pendent light. Alexa controls dimming and colors, all you have to do is tell her!! Great for setting room tone. Replaced with these bulbs, as the deako smart switch that came with the dr horton home looses connection on a regular basis. Alexa interfaces with the bulbs flawlessly. Will be adding more of this brand of bulb throughout my house.

The ease of turning on and off the lights with Google Assistant works wonders. No more having to leave the bed and look for the light switch in the dark. Very easy to pair as well as the device is instantly discoverable through the AiDot app. One thing I do wish is that the brightness of the colors were slightly higher. The white setting would be the brightest and I have no issues with that. Overall, works great! Easy to pair, use and quality is good.

Not bright. I replaced a 75W bulb in a lamp and this bulb was significantly less bright. I use this bulb in a decorative lamp now because it's not bright enough for a lamp that you actually need to light a room. I have yet to find a use for the second bulb. One really annoying thing is that every couple of days it seems to go offline and I can't control it from the phone app. I have to go turn it on and off at manually using the lamp switch to get it to reconnect. Thats the company's official solution to the problem but it's not really a solution since it happens at least once a week. The bulb is advertised as working with Matter , but it doesn't. The bulbs register using Bluetooth and are controlled through WiFi. Couldn't register them with matter which makes sense for the price point. Also the app settings are all unreliable (timer doesn't work sometimes, matching lights to music or TV just seems to randomly change colors and brightness with no relation to the music or what's on the screen). For the incredibly low price it's worth it, but if you don't mind spending an extra $10 you can get a much better quality and brighter smart bulb.

Turns out, I needed a "hub" to use this on Apple Homekit. My fault for not knowing... Regardless, the app works great, and and bulb functions as it should. I installed it on my night stand and it works great!
