I just love this bed frame! I got the "full" size, but it came as two separate frames that just snap up and into place. I used the provided hardware to screw the two pieces together, and voila! Instant full-sized bed. It was so simple to put together and literally took about ten minutes (and at least three of those was spent looking for a piece I had dropped on the floor!). I am using it in my spare room, but you could easily use one piece for a guest cot and keep it folded up in the closet. The legs just snap out and into place, add a mattress of some kind, and you're good to go. I love that you don't need a box spring with this. I just put a mattress on top, and it's super. I haven't put anything under it yet, but I have cats, and I am very comfortable with how sturdy this is (that it won't collapse on top of any kitty who decides to sleep under it). Honestly, this is on me but I feel like they shouldn't include a bed frame in the picture. I was doing late night shopping and looked up "Twin XL bedframe with headboard" and this was one of the first to come up. When it came I was wondering where the headboard was, but I went back and had to scroll to find that the headboard wasn't included. Of course I still kept the frame and it's been great. A lot of the reviews mention that it’s easy to assemble and doesn’t take long however I found that to be only somewhat true. I would say assembly definitely needs two people. My daughter had to help me with this and it took us almost an hour or so to finally get it all together. One of the bars had trouble sliding in place and got stuck. It nearly cut us when trying to pull it out. The instructions are easy to read and understand and it comes with all the tools and parts you need. You won’t need additional tools. I’ve had it now for a few months and have no complaints. It’s easy to move and I love it’s height. I was a little concerned it wasn’t going to be high enough, as I wanted to store some thing under but, it has plenty of room. It is very comfortable and it’s not noisy at all. We bought this black twin xl frame for a 6 inch tri fold memory mattress for my sisters visit. Easy to pop open, extend legs to sit on the flood. No wing nuts but I see plastic clips on foldable legs which works fairly well. Wobbles just a bit on one end but we'll try to firm it up.
