Truth be told, I think my dog might like it more than I do! But I do also like it. It's made sleeping easier on my shoulders, and I haven't noticed it increasing the temperature. I'm pretty prone to hot flashes, but it hasn't made them worse, though I also don't know that it's improved them. But it's comfortable, and I would recommend it to a friend who prefers a softer sleeping experience. It is very, very soft though. It's not going to solve things if your mattress is as hard as a rock. You'll just end up with a little bit of a buffer between you and the rock. I bought this because my bed is old and looks like I'm not going to be able to get one right away and I thought this would be helpful. For starters when you get this item it says you should open it up and it takes about 48 hours for it to come to fruition with its fullness. It only takes about 2 hours. I opened mine up and I kept it out in my living room and I could have had it on my bed. So if you're area is at a temperature of 65°, you can put it on your bed after 2 hours. I also suggest having someone help you because it's really difficult to do it by yourself. I got the cover to go with this item and I was surprised by the cover and the quality of it it was really nice. So I thought that the cover would zip around on three sides well it only did it on two sides and you had to basically kind of put the mattress in between the cover kind of like a sandwich and it was a little difficult doing it by yourself. I got it done but it would be easier with two people. By the way the cover for the mattress washes nicely. I slept on the bed the first night and it seemed fine after 3 or 4 days I noticed that the mattress kind of slides down a little bit. Also it kind of buckles on my bed so I have these big rolling hills on my mattress which all I have to do is lift up the fitted sheet on my bed and straighten it out but still kind of a pain in the neck to have to deal with. I thought about getting some of those plastic nylon shelving pieces of material to see if it would help stay in place. On the bottom of the mattress cover there is some kind of material that seems it should help but it really doesn't. I would say it's good not a great item but it is kind of comfy but I really expected something totally different but it's okay for now. This works great. I put the cover on it that came with the memory foam mattress topper and I use it in the back of my Tesla Y, with the back seat down. This gives my very big dogs a reasonably soft place to lie down. I traveled 900 miles roundtrip and the dogs were fine. I've even slept on it myself in my Tesla (using Tesla Camp Mode). ... show more

I just opened my 2”memory foam mattress topper. First it was well packaged and only took minutes to fully shape. It has no harsh smell at all! We could have slept on it immediately! This is not my first Linenspa product purchase, I can say that I am really impressed with the quality of there produces, and I’m somewhat picky! Not to mention they are affordable is an added bonus. I also purchased the 2” mattress cover it is thick and cozy. I can’t wait to sleep on them tonight!! My daughter has the 8” or 10” full sized mattress on her bed and it’s so very comfortable too. She’s had it going on 3-4 years now and it is still In excellent conditions.. no dips or divots! Hope this help ... show more
