I just opened my 2”memory foam mattress topper. First it was well packaged and only took minutes to fully shape. It has no harsh smell at all! We could have slept on it immediately! This is not my first Linenspa product purchase, I can say that I am really impressed with the quality of there produces, and I’m somewhat picky! Not to mention they are affordable is an added bonus. I also purchased the 2” mattress cover it is thick and cozy. I can’t wait to sleep on them tonight!! My daughter has the 8” or 10” full sized mattress on her bed and it’s so very comfortable too. She’s had it going on 3-4 years now and it is still In excellent conditions.. no dips or divots! Hope this help

I bought this because my bed is old and looks like I'm not going to be able to get one right away and I thought this would be helpful. For starters when you get this item it says you should open it up and it takes about 48 hours for it to come to fruition with its fullness. It only takes about 2 hours. I opened mine up and I kept it out in my living room and I could have had it on my bed. So if you're area is at a temperature of 65°, you can put it on your bed after 2 hours. I also suggest having someone help you because it's really difficult to do it by yourself. I got the cover to go with this item and I was surprised by the cover and the quality of it it was really nice. So I thought that the cover would zip around on three sides well it only did it on two sides and you had to basically kind of put the mattress in between the cover kind of like a sandwich and it was a little difficult doing it by yourself. I got it done but it would be easier with two people. By the way the cover for the mattress washes nicely. I slept on the bed the first night and it seemed fine after 3 or 4 days I noticed that the mattress kind of slides down a little bit. Also it kind of buckles on my bed so I have these big rolling hills on my mattress which all I have to do is lift up the fitted sheet on my bed and straighten it out but still kind of a pain in the neck to have to deal with. I thought about getting some of those plastic nylon shelving pieces of material to see if it would help stay in place. On the bottom of the mattress cover there is some kind of material that seems it should help but it really doesn't. I would say it's good not a great item but it is kind of comfy but I really expected something totally different but it's okay for now. It's not a bad product but it's not a great product either.

This is a quality product. The material is soft and durable. It was easy to put this cover on my 4" mattress topper. This cover has gripper material on one side that prevents the mattress topper from sliding - huge plus. I would definitely purchase this product again.

We have a lake home which has a hard mattress on our bed. Each trip to the lake I had trouble sleeping on my side due to pressure on my shoulders and hips. We purchased to topper, followed the instruction to wait 48 hours before using and immediately noticed a Hugh improvement in our sleeping. This is not an expensive topper but for our limited use it is working better than expected. We also purchased the topper case which for a few dollars more I think is well worth the money. The case keeps the topper from sliding around and I think it will increase the life of the topper. We elected to use the topper with the corrugated side down and the smooth side up. I have not been able to notice any difference in temperature when using the topper. This may be because we are also using the topper case which adds a little extra buffer between topper and body.

My original review was for the memory foam pad. The topper cover fits perfectly and helps keep the memory Foam in place. I am changing my review. We transferred this memory foam pad to a firm mattress and that made a difference. It no longer sinks into a valley and is fairly comfortable. We even used it on the floor for the kids. We also bought the cover and that helped. I still don't think memory foam is that great and I will not use it on a soft mattress. I don't know what the big deal is about memory foam. I will never order it again. I ordered the 3-inch-thick foam thinking it would be good for the body. The body sinks down to the bottom and then you are surrounded by a valley of foam especially when it is 3 inches thick. A one-inch foam topper would be better. It makes turning over in the night a problem. If you like sleeping on a hard surface than you may like it. After sleeping on this for 3 months, my body aches all over. I doubt this is good for the body. It is better to get a mattress topper that is not foam. I had a wool topper but lost it in a fire. That was like sleeping on a cloud but with support.

My husband sleeps in a hospital bed with a hard mattress, and I bought a Linenspa mattress topper to provide him with a softer and more comfortable bed. This cover protects and preserves the mattress topper. I washed it before putting it on, and it washed and dried very well with cool water and low dryer heat. It's very form-fitting, and it took me a while to figure out how to get it on. It unzips around three sides, which makes it easier, but what you really need to keep in mind is that there are top and bottom fabrics, and the top fabric also covers the sides of the topper. The bottom fabric has little dots (silicone?) that help it stay on whatever it is on top of (in our case, the hospital bed mattress). The top fabric looks like a mattress pad. When you put the cover on the topper, pull the top fabric down over all four sides of the topper before zipping it up, and you will find that it fits perfectly.
