Note: the pictures are in reverse order 7:09PM is the last photo and 8:56PM is the first. I will start by saying I have a L3-L4-L5-S1 fusion, two achy artificial knees. I purchased this item looking for some more comfort and I was a bit more comfortable. The time range of the photos are from 7:09PM when I unrolled the topper from its outer most plastic wrap to 8:56PM before putting the mattress pad/cover on. I was hoping to demonstrate how it flattened out from storage and was hoping the width would expand enough to cover the entire California King mattress. I also shows the crimping that occurred and resolved itself. There was some odor noticeable but not overwhelming. I opened the bedroom windows, put on the ceiling fan and a floor fan to circulate the air. There was no discernible odor to me when I started making the bed at about 9:00PM. I had been sleeping on a 4 inch memory foam but found myself sinking in so much that it was quite a chore to roll over or get out of bed. I did not have this problem with this 2 inch topper. I also did not find it to be overly warm as others have mentioned. It has only been one night, but I do not begrudge the money I spent on this item. If the pad had been appropriately sized I would have given it 5 stars. ... show more

I had bought a memory foam mattress and i just sunk right into it and i hated it i ended up waking up so uncomfortable. I bought this memory foam topper and it’s a little firm so it did the trick and my bed is so much more comfortable and i have way more support. By which I mean, as an 135lb woman, on my side, I can feel the mattress under me, which did NOT happen with my last memory foam topper, also 2", even after 10 years. But the company, Lindenspa, treated me well, so I'm giving it another star. Like many people here, I read an absurd number of reviews before I settled on this product. Like many people here, cost was not my primary motivation. I was looking to replace a 10+ year-old memory foam topper with similar. Note that I am not unhappy with the quality, or the delivery, but the product itself. FOR ME, this is a one-star product: it doesn't do what it needs to do, I would not buy it again, and I would not recommend it to anyone like myself. However, when I called Linenspa, they answered the phone, and they helped me figure out what to do about the situation. They were exceptionally helpful, and I would absolutely do business with them again. In fact, I'm about to order another topper at their recommendation. (Since you asked, Lucid 2" mem foam, one of the ones I considered originally.) So my review: yes on Lindenspa. No on the 2", at least. Didn't work for me. ... show more

    • Very comfortable. No Significant Smell
We've been using this topper for about 2 months and it has very comfortable. It's not too soft and not too firm, and so far the memory foam seems to return to its original state after use (no dips or sagging so far). We didn't notice any significant smell when we first opened the package.

My bed was hardish. Mattress had lost the pillow top feel. Put this on. TOTAL change. Worth every penny.
