These shades roll up incredibly well -- not only do they rise evenly and straight, but they rise smoothly. They even slow down slightly as they get close to the top. The block-out fabric is very good as well. There's no out-gassing of plastic odor, and they do indeed block out light. The only demerit: they curl up very slightly at the sides, but I have very long shades. As time goes by, they seem to be straightening out. Shorter shades probably wouldn't have that problem as much. ... show more

I ordered a 66" Wide shade, to cover the entire width of the window and then some, since it is meant to black out the sun from the entire space. The instructions read "If you select Outside Mount, your shade will arrive the exact size you ordered." I selected Outside Mount and 66" wide - but my shade came at a width of less than 65". I contacted the seller who argued about how they did it right. I've responded with clarification, but if they don't let me exchange this thing for a properly designed one with the specs I provided *per their own instructions* then I will be adjusting this review to read 1 star. The product is OK, but if it actually doesn't cover what you need it to cover, it is absolutely better to search for another seller. ... show more

Update: So I just received and installed the last shade in my son’s room and I’m obsessed. These are so incredibly easy to install and the amount of light they block out is insane. I installed custom blinds in my daughter’s room that is identical to my sons and I have to put expensive blackout curtains on top of the blinds (that I spent over $100 each on) just to make the room dark enough for naps. These shades were half the price, much easier to install, and actually blackout his room. The picture included is at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. I purchased these for a temporary solution in the home were renovating. I wanted some inexpensive but with the HUGE windows we have that was nearly impossible until I found these. For custom shades they came VERY fast and packed superb. I was impressed by how easy they were to install and how truly room darkening they are. I just wished they came in an even longer version as some of our windows are about a foot longer. Don’t pass these up! ... show more

Our Windows measure 80” long. These were 2” “short” but I was willing to take the gamble because to purchase roller shades that are exactly 80” long was an additional $200 at least. I think they’re perfect. They are the vinyl type shade, but that’s ok. Not too many people go over and look at the shades except me and I love them. They are an improvement for our window treatments at a fraction of the cost.... and!!!! they cover ALL the exposed window. I don’t miss the 2” at the bottom at all!!! I will say this to the company though, it would be nice if the option of a cassette/valance was available for these. Instead we need to look into cornices which I’m actually ok with it looks better but the cassette valance would have been nice until we get the cornices up. ... show more

Had the best experience with this company! With so many Blind and Shade companies on Amazon its hard to choose the correct ones however I suggest this company hands down. I purchased the roller shades for all my windows, choose white light filter. They came quick, well packaged and super easy to install. I had couple that were not trimmed to my specified measurements, they paid for me to ship back, re trimmed and shipped within a week at their expense. The shades are nice quality and perfect light blocking, did not find them see through at all. Im very happy with my purchase and highly recommend! ... show more

These are quality cordless fabric blinds, they are available in custom sizes, and the company has excellent customer service as well. Great with any questions we had and they sent out a sample of the fabrics so we could hold them up to the window to check for sheerness and overall color before placing our order. The light filtering fabric blocks out pretty much everything and it looks nice too. No need to go full black out level to get some serious privacy, even in the taupe color fabric. Excellent communication and products came packaged very well too. Easy to install, and uninstall if needed. Would recommend and buy more in the future. ... show more
