First off - I spent weeks, maybe months comparing couches before buying this one. I knew it was more firm when I bought it, so I have no complaints there. I know other people would not be able to live with how firm it is though. So yes, it is FIRM. Second, for the size of the room, the color, ease of assembly, COST, tons of additional storage it provides, the way you can choose which side you prefer to have the lounger on, and the fact that it was delivered to the door of my condo inside the building where I live, all of those things are great! It checks off almost all the boxes for me. The one thing that this lacks like with most things, is you get what you pay for. I live alone so I could kinda care slightly less about the quality - I'm not actively trying to impress anyone at this stage in my life, BUT... It is a little loose on the arm of the side without the charger. Like, by a lot! If you get this, just be aware that if you need perfection, you may need to remove and re-install some brackets to make it fit tight. I didn't care too much bc I have another piece of furniture wedged next to it on that side so it doesn't flop around. ... show more

We bought this for a camper trailer we renovated since the description says it was small enough, and when I say it’s beautiful and fits perfect, it’s beautiful and fits perfect. Its not too big but not too small. It was very easy to install and best part, it pulls out to either lay comfortably while watching tv or to sleep on. It’s large enough to fit my 6 foot husband. Definitely worth it and so excited to test it out on our many camping trips. ... show more

I read the reviews and felt like I knew what I was getting into. It is the perfect size and the bed part works easily. However, I had read it was a firm couch. That was ok by me as I love firm furniture. This furniture is not firm, it’s hard. Think Fred Flinstone and his rock furniture. That would be more comfortable than this couch. I am honestly going to start jumping on it a few times a day to hopefully help break it down. The worst part, however, is the off-gassing. It sat in our garage for a week before we brought it in and put it together. I started smelling a horrible mildew type smell. We have searched under the house, used a moisture reader in ever room, ran air purifiers, and used dehumidifiers. The couch has been in the house about 4-5 weeks now. And o have had a sinus and lunch infection for the same amount of time. When we brought it in I immediately smelled the cushions and they smelled fine, so I knew the couch wasn’t the smell. Today though, I had my arm on the armrest and quickly moved it at which time I got a huge whiff of the smell. I smelled the armrest/end piece and bingo! Found the awful, sickening smell. I then crawled around the couch sniffing the parts that would make up the frame and every single frame piece has this terrible chemical smell. Tonight we are drowning it in baking soda which I will vacuum tomorrow in hopes it will take care of the smell. My advice if you have a sensitive respiratory system, do not buy this couch. It has seriously made me so sick. As for the hardness, if you like sitting on rock slabs this is the couch for you! ... show more

For the price, this is a decent couch. It looks nice, and it went together easily. I got this 5 months ago. I don't think it is really intended for long and heavy use. When I got it, my bedroom was in a state of construction, so I was sleeping on this couch. I was opening it up daily, and using it to sleep on steadily for about 2 months. I don't think it is intended for that much heavy use. After those 2 months, it continues to get daily use by me as my main place to relax and watch TV, read, or play my Switch on a daily basis for most of the evening after work. It's also my primary place to take a nice nap after working around the house on the weekends. It has begun to tear a bit at a couple of seams. The roll out bed portion doesn't like to stay on its track and sometimes comes loose to push several inches away from the rest of the couch. The arms and where the two sections connect is not a super strong connection and time has made them all a bit wobbly. The couch has also settled some, and the frame can be felt through the cushions, especially where the two sections meet. This makes napping on it with my head at the chaise side uncomfortable with a bar right about where my hip is, so I lay on it with my head at the other end. For the price I paid (which was under $600 at the time, its fluctuated since then) I do think its a decent deal for the money. When a good, solid couch is more in the $2000 range, this little one is holding up pretty well, so I can't complain too much. But, if this couch is going to get heavy use by multiple people, kids, pets, it probably won't stand up to a beating. If you need a good, sturdy, long lasting couch, I'd recommend looking at something more expensive if you can afford it. It is a perfect size for my little 600SF house though, and the ability to switch around which side the chaise is on is very convenient for making it fit into my space. ... show more
