  • The best thing since sliced bread
Color: Pink
Ok so let me just say what a lifesaver this is!!! Washing my 3 year old daughter's hair was a nightmare!! If you've ever tried to bathe a ferile cat then you understand what I've been dealing with over here. If a drop of water touched her face it was full on freak out mode. I dreaded bath times more than anything. When we got it I showed her how it worked without the water first and then we tried it out for the first time tonight. She was reluctant at first but once she realized there was no water on her face she was thrilled and I was thrilled and it was a joyous moment for the both of us!!! Praise the lord! High five to inventor of this miracle product!! You did good. You did real good!! ... show more

  • Brilliant water hat
Color: Pink
This product is bloody brilliant. My almost 3 year old went from crying to acting like a possessed child from the exorcist whenever it was time to rinse his head from his very expensive tear free shampoo. I got this for him in fear that my neighbors were going to call CPS. So I used it although the words “rinse off the shampoo” set him off in a rampage. With one hand I managed to keep the hat on him and rinse his head while keeping him from flying out of the tub. I honestly think I grew a few extra arms. Not one drop of water got on his face! This is seriously the best thing since sliced bread. Hopefully the next few times we use it he’ll realize his face isn’t actually getting wet and stop screaming before all the pets off themselves from the screaming. I recommend this to everyone. Unless your kid loves water on his face then in that case lucky you Update: it’s been about 3 months and he no longer gives me a hard time when I say it’s time to rinse. I make him look up and I just use a towel to take out the excess water from his hair so it doesn’t drip. Best purchase ever ... show more

  • Love this! Been using it with my daughter since ...
Color: Pink
Love this! Been using it with my daughter since she was around 8 months old. She's now 2. One tip that helps; After each bath the warm water warms the cap repeatedly so it can over time not fit as snug on the baby head allowing water through on there little eyes. But we had a little bucket we just snuggly fit it in after done using so it dries inside and is snug fitting for each use. Hope that's not confusing. Will attach picture. ... show more

  • Life changer!!
Color: Pink
My baby HATED bath time before we got this. He hated getting water in his face while rinsing the shampoo off him (wouldn't sit still enough for me to do it perfectly with a regular cup), and that caused him to start dreading baths and he'd scream the entire time and try to climb out of the tub. My husband and I were skeptical that this product would actually work but it works FLAWLESSLY. He's 12 months old and I can easily place it on his head and hold it with one hand while pouring water with the other hand. No leaks! We've used it several times now and it's really helping to make bath time so much better. Tip: The first couple of times we used it, I wore the visor myself while I was washing baby so he could get used to it and see that it was safe. Then I'd let him borrow my "hat" when it came time to rinse his hair. ... show more

  • MOLD
Color: Pink
Beware: While this product works as intended, substantial mold has grown on the inside of the flap that touches my child’s head. It is now in the garbage. I am incredibly disappointed!

  • Ultimately leaks - but may work for older children?....read on
Color: Pink
This is a great CONCEPT for a rinse cap for finicky kids who cannot stand to have water touch any part of their face while having their hair washed. (Yes, I have one of those kids). However, you must apply a good amount of pressure to the rim of this cap in order to seal out the water and direct it into the well that drains it away from the face. Whenever I apply the right pressure to "lock out" the water, my daughter yelps that I'm hurting her neck. I sort of push her head back in the process. So, naturally, I then apply less pressure and water drains right into her eyes. If your kid is a bit older (maybe 5?) and can hold the splashguard firmly against their forehead on their own, then this will work for you. However, I have a 4 year old who just can't manage that yet. I wanted this little unit to be my savior from bath time drama, but sadly, it just did not function as advertised. ... show more

  • My three year old finally likes it. Update: broke.
Color: Pink
It broke after many uses, we now just wash their hair in the sink. It's much easier. I swaddle them in a towel so they lay still on the counter. I hope after swim lessons they will get over getting their hair washed(5&3y.o.) It took a year for this to work for us, so glad it finally does. Our trick is having a disco like light on the ceiling for him to stare at while we rinse. Only problem is it's still too loose and hard to keep steady while washing or rinsing especially on our 1yr old. ( I know it's upside-down in my 1st photo, but it's 2cute!) ... show more

  • ... Nope
Color: Pink
Seems like a great idea, but this did not work for our almost-two-year-old. Maybe she's just too wiggly? Maybe her head isn't the right shape? Regardless, this did nothing to alleviate the screaming and crying at hair-rinsing time. We've had much greater success just rolling up a wash cloth and holding it against her forehead. ... show more
