I can't say enough great things about this Day Bed! It's very well made, solid, very sturdy, and great looking. It was easy to assemble, though it did take about 2 1/2-3 hour for me and my husband to put it together. It's easier with two people working together, than one person doing it alone. The instructions are basically pictures showing it step-by-step, rather than written instructions, but they're easy to follow. We have a big 5th wheel camper on some property out-of-state, and it had a sleeper sofa when we bought it. Sleepers are never really comfortable, even with an extra mattress, and the extra mattress took up vital space when the sleeper was in "sofa" mode. So we gave it away, and I bought this day bed with the extra trundle. My husband is tall (6'3"), and the two of us can't sleep comfortably together on the camper's bedroom bed, so he's been managing on the sleeper anytime we were at the camp. That's going on 4 years. I finally gave the sleeper and the mattress away, and had this bed delivered, keeping my fingers crossed that this bed would be a good solution. We got to the camp yesterday, and assembled the bed. We were amazed, and relieved at how well everything fit together. I had also bought 8" memory foam mattresses for the bed and trundle. We opened them, allowed them to expand, then dressed the bed, and it was ready to go. My husband immediately laid on it with one of our dogs, and fell asleep. Last evening, he watched TV while he lounged on it, and he slept on it all night with absolutely no complaints. He woke up in a great mood, with no physical discomforts. That says a lot, since we are both "advanced" in our years, and sleeping "comfortably" is always a challenge. Another great feature about this bed, is that it doesn't take up any more space than the sleeper sofa took up, and it matches the rest of the furnishings in the camper. The charging port is also a great little plus. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a day bed that effortlessly expands with a trundle. It's money well spent. ***WARNING to anyone buying this, or any day bed!! They rarely come with a mattress. You're buying the bed. Mattresses are a separate purchase. ... show more

Well made and looks great! Assembly instructions were clear and I as a woman, built it by myself. Good quality and the trundle set up is really easy! If I could make 1 suggestion to the manufacturer it would be to add 2 more mattress keepers so the mattresses dont slide back. The trundle needs 2 more so the mattress can't move forward when it's up as a king size bed as well as the back when it's down and your pushing ut under the bed. Great bed. Very sturdy bed for the price. I was able to put it together mostly by myself in about 2 hours. A few of the screws were hard to get in the awkward places but it wasn’t too bad. Instructions were pretty straight forward. Would recommend

This is perfect twin daybed! Typically size which is good. My 5 yr old is comfortable and stays in bed all night - which is awesome. The electric outlets are genius. As you can see in my dark pic, adding a nightlight is super easy. We haven’t tried the trundle bed pop-up feature.

I bought this is April (it's now August) to set up a spare room for family when they visit. Just now put it together, and did it by myself. (55yo woman) It took me a slow, steady & interrupted 3.5 hours to complete. Had I had help & not interrupted, I feel confident it could've been done in under 2 hours. The directions were simple & images clear to follow. I didn't have to change or correct anything as I finished each step. All materials were included. So far no rattling parts. I do wish the metal slats screwed in, but they seem snug and have rubber caps to hold snuggly and not rattle metal against metal. The trundle glides easily. It fits EXACTLY into the frame, so no room for error when sliding back under the bed. The outer frame edge only has room for an 8" mattress, or 9" with a tight squeeze, which will be fine for grandkids, but renders the option of popping the trundle up to make a larger bed pretty useless since the beds won't be even. I wondered if I could squeeze a 10" hybrid mattress like the one I have on top, underneath. I just opened the box mattress, so it is only expanded to 9" depth so far. I barely got it under the bed and it lifted the (mattress-less) frame up. So, I think I may try and find some low profile bed lifts so that I can fit a 10" mattress underneath, that way I'll the option to use it as a King size bed. All in all, I like this bed.
