I can't say enough great things about this Day Bed! It's very well made, solid, very sturdy, and great looking. It was easy to assemble, though it did take about 2 1/2-3 hour for me and my husband to put it together. It's easier with two people working together, than one person doing it alone. The instructions are basically pictures showing it step-by-step, rather than written instructions, but they're easy to follow. We have a big 5th wheel camper on some property out-of-state, and it had a sleeper sofa when we bought it. Sleepers are never really comfortable, even with an extra mattress, and the extra mattress took up vital space when the sleeper was in "sofa" mode. So we gave it away, and I bought this day bed with the extra trundle. My husband is tall (6'3"), and the two of us can't sleep comfortably together on the camper's bedroom bed, so he's been managing on the sleeper anytime we were at the camp. That's going on 4 years. I finally gave the sleeper and the mattress away, and had this bed delivered, keeping my fingers crossed that this bed would be a good solution. We got to the camp yesterday, and assembled the bed. We were amazed, and relieved at how well everything fit together. I had also bought 8" memory foam mattresses for the bed and trundle. We opened them, allowed them to expand, then dressed the bed, and it was ready to go. My husband immediately laid on it with one of our dogs, and fell asleep. Last evening, he watched TV while he lounged on it, and he slept on it all night with absolutely no complaints. He woke up in a great mood, with no physical discomforts. That says a lot, since we are both "advanced" in our years, and sleeping "comfortably" is always a challenge. Another great feature about this bed, is that it doesn't take up any more space than the sleeper sofa took up, and it matches the rest of the furnishings in the camper. The charging port is also a great little plus. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a day bed that effortlessly expands with a trundle. It's money well spent. ***WARNING to anyone buying this, or any day bed!! They rarely come with a mattress. You're buying the bed. Mattresses are a separate purchase.

This has solved a problem we had with fitting a full bed in a small space. I love that this turns into a King-sized bed, but that it's horizontal, instead of vertical. We were lacking space for that length, and when the bed is all put together as a king-size, we have zero room to walk in that room. A hide-a-bed wouldn't work because the mattress sits length-wise and would be too long. This is the PERFECT solution! It was really easy to put together. They recommend doing it with two people, but I did it myself without any trouble at all. The parts are labeled clearly and so are the instructions. I can't speak much to the durability, but the entire bedframe is metal. The only wood is the decorative part on the headboard, which is just engineered pressed board. It seems sturdy and will work perfectly for a guest bedroom.

Never have I ever had such instructions so clearly marked and orderly. All the parts are clearly labeled with individual packing of nuts and bolts./ including tools. I am 73 and put it the whole thing together myself. No problems. Looks lovely in my room. It’s sturdy and I like the clean white look in my room.

I looked at a lot of daybeds before deciding on this one. It did take about 2 hours to set it up. There are a lot of parts to lay out. Then get your power tools out to speed up the process. Having a partner to help find the parts and hold on end of the pieces greatly helps with the set up! The bed looks very nice. It is strong and sturdy. I choose this bed because you can raise the trundle to the same height as the main bed. This is especially nice if two people want to sleep in the bed at the same time. Or you can keep the beds separate for two guests. The trundle is on wheels so you can move it in & out easily or move it to another area all together. Either way works fine as a guest bed. I added a 3 inch foam mattress topper to each bed. This makes the bed very comfortable. Having the shelf on the top with the two build in outlets and two C port charger is a nice bonus.

I absolutely love this bed I knew I would when I ordered it now let me tell you it's an effort to put it together I had some other people to do it it took them over 2 hours and there were three of them so it took three people over 2 hours to get it together but they did a fabulous job it's a fabulous bed I ordered two 8-in mattresses here on Amazon and I absolutely love it it's wonderful get it for yourself

I like the bed, but the headboard came damaged and was not sitting right. We tried to get the piece to straighten out but didn’t have any luck. The railing had a dent, and the headboard has a chip.
