I’m very impressed with this bed. The quality is excellent for the price and it has really cool features with the plug in and side pouch. I truly don’t understand anyone who wrote about this need being difficult to assemble. The manufacturer made all the parts so you have wiggle room for errors and alignment. It’s a nice big size. I had one part that seemed low in quality so I’ll follow up in that.

Great Bed!! Haven't slept on it yet but just finished setting it up! Took about 2 hours to put together and was able to do it alone. The trundle under it fits absolutely perfectly.... We used 9inch mattresses and I don't think you could use a thicker one... At least for the trundle part as it would be very difficult to get the bed to slide underneath. The room is small and the bed fits perfectly, allowing for extra space at the end for a desk! I searched high and low for a trundle bed that would pull out and pop up into a regular twin mattress. I like that you can keep them together to make a king but it was more important than I could separate them if I wanted to, without having our guests have their bed on the floor. This is in our guest room. Couldn't be happier with how this turned out!

Because of the measurement in the photo on your website and the fact that you say mattresses can be 6 to 10 inches, I bought two 10 inch mattresses and after setting everything up, discovered that there was only less than 9 inches space and we cannot push in the trundle. Returning the mattresses is more trouble than it’s worth as is returning the bed so we will be stuck with an open twin king bed, but everyone needs to know that the measurements are incorrect. Otherwise it would have been perfect.
