I've used the Light My Fire sporks for years - first a set of four plastic ones and then a titanium one (after one of the plastics broke while scooping yogurt). Use the titanium one for years for camping and when I packed lunch for work. It went missing a few months ago and I've got a camping trip coming up so I ordered this one along with several other to compare and decide which one to keep. I happily used the Light My Fires for years and would have been happy to keep this one except I found a competing brand that is better. The HumanGear Ti-Uno Go Bites titanium spork improves in one way - it curves the spoon and fork ends the same way and is much easier to hold. Also, the Light My Fire is significantly more expensive than all of the other options, even those that mimic its design. So, sorry Light My Fire, you have been de-throned. ... show more

This is a replacement for an "ooops"! I'd made the mistake of putting it in a "cargo-pants pocked"-& in riding my 'bent bike home-it was gone. I even retraced my route-but someone else obviously got lucky-with a great product!

I bough this product as I am now back in the office and lucky enough to be with a firm that has minimized paper cups and plates in favor of ping glasses and dinner plates. That got me thinking about what I could do to drop plastic from my life. I know titanium is popular with the camping set, but for me, I love having quality tools for whatever comes, whether I pack lunch or pick up takeout.     • Poor edge finish.
This is not a bad concept, but was evidently just stamped out of sheet titanium and then shipped as is. As a result, the edges were all sharp and in some cases microscopically jagged. Not something you would want to be holding with your fingers, let alone putting in your mouth. I spent a half-hour with 400 grit sandpaper going over all the edges (including the sides of the tines!) and the thing is quite usable now. Not recommended unless you're willing to finish off the manufacturing process for them. FWIW, I actually like the Light My Fire Camping Spork.
