I had a dishwasher rack that was rusting and decided to try this out before purchasing a new one. The product worked as indicated. It is easy to apply if you follow their instructions.     • Diligence needed
If you don't get all the rust off the rack before coating, and I do mean every speck of rust, the rust will come back. On the less rusty places it's worked good, but on the nastiest little corner of the rack it's just near impossible to get all the rust off and the rust comes back in a few weeks. Even using a Dremel to grind the rust off the rack I couldn't get all the rust our of the hard to reach corners. It's not really the Goop's fault, it sticks and seals good. Just know cleaning off all the rust is a monster of a job ! ... show more
