I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding a backpack for travel as a carryon bag that fits everything I want to carry. I use a carryon backpack for holding everything I’m bringing to my seat on the plane so I only have one carryon item. It needs to be functional and practical, but also attractive, and not look like a camping backpack. This backpack fits all my personal items like a crossbody Coach City bag and regular wallet, glasses case, pouch with medicine and a few small toiletries, buckwheat neck pillow, 22oz Takeya water bottle, scarf, snacks, electronics such as over ear headphones in case and Kindle, charging cords, and jewelry organizer, and any items I would not want to loose in a checked bag. There are so many zipper organizer pockets, and the light interior makes it easy to see everything. Every detail of this bag has been thoughtful, like the pass through trolley strap, the security zipper, and the dedicated rear zippered phone pocket. And even with everything this bag can fit, it’s isn’t ginormous, doesn’t weigh too much, with a durable fabric that has help up well to being shoved under airplane seats. This backpack exceeded my expectations! It’s soooo cute, and the black color is very dark, which I appreciate. I love how thick and high quality the material is! It just barely came, so I can’t speak to its longevity yet, but it seems very durable. It also feels pretty waterproof. The zippers are so cute and very smooth. The padding on the laptop pocket is super nice, and my 15” laptop fits with plenty of extra space. Like other reviews say, the water bottle pockets are small and not flexible, but they fit my 21oz Hydroflask perfectly. My main concern was that the backpack would be too big, because I just want a small one for college, but it doesn’t look too bulky while still having lots of room. I recently purchased this backpack for a trip and am very satisfied with it. It has alot of pockets, many of them deep, and stores alot of items. It's durable and, so far, the zippers are working well. I like that there's an RFID pocket in the same compartment of the backpack where the laptop pockets are. It came in handy for safely storing my passport and wallet with credit card, driver's license, etc-- especially good while walking through airports or in large cities. While I didn't bring a laptop on my trip, I was able to use those pockets for carrying magazines, and small, soft- sided pouches for medications, and small electronics such as phone chargers, in addition to a spare pair of eyeglasses in their hard- sided case. There's also enough room in this backpack to fit my DSLR bridge camera in its carrying case, a change of clothes, a packable rain jacket, and several other items. The different compartments and pockets also make it easy to organize items so I can easily find things as I'm traveling. The shoulder straps are also easily adjusted and comfortable and don't dig into my shoulders like my old backpack did. Also, the backpack is water resistant. I was outside in a heavy rain and the rain beaded on the outside surface of the backpack and didn't seep into the inside of the backpack. And, the backpack easily fit under a small airplane seat, even with it filled so its depth expanded to 7 inches or so. All in all, a quality product at a reasonable price. The only criticism I have about this backpack is that all of the zippers don't have the same locking mechanism as the laptop section zipper does, which isn't ideal if people want to store other valuable items in the other backpack compartments. I really appreciate the neutral khaki color of this backpack; it’s versatile and stylish. However, I was surprised to find that it has a slightly shinier, more reflective finish than what appeared in the pictures, which seemed more matte. This difference in material is a bit disappointing, and I’m removing a star for that. Additionally, the material seems to show dirt more easily, so it may require more frequent cleaning. On the positive side, the backpack offers an impressive amount of storage space with plenty of pockets. I was able to comfortably fit my 15” portable monitor, 14” laptop, 11” iPad Pro, charging cords, notebooks, and even some makeup. I also used it as a carry-on, and it stored nicely on the airplane, making it a practical choice for travel.
