The straps velcro towards the outside of your wrists so it doesn’t run alongside my gym clothing because let’s face it ladies, our gym outfits aren’t cheap. My other straps have worn into specific places on my leggings and bras due to the velcro catching onto the fabric. The brown nubuck doesn’t turn my hands into that dirty color, either. I wasn’t sure about getting the M size since I weight 200+ lbs and I bought Large versa grips in the past. But this was the best choice ever!. They fit me better and I feel more confident when wrapping them around something in the gym. I highly recomend buying Grip Power Pads.

These are waaaay better than the simple canvas straps. The canvas straps are great, but hard to get them to take enough pressure out of my grip. These are super easy to get to take all the weight out of my grip so I can focus on the muscles I'm targeting. I don't use them for warming up because I still want to train my grip strength, but I do use them for my heaviest lifts, highest rep sets, or near the end of the workout when my grip is the limiting factor. They're great for "century sets" where you pick a weight you can do 30 reps with, strap yourself in, and go for 100 with only 2-3 breath breaks. I used to say, "Train your grip on the way up and you'll always have a strong enough grip." Spoken like a true beginner. IDK if this brand is the longest lasting, but mine are solid after 4 months use. ... show more

I have tried gloves, straps, wraps of all types and although they do all have their pros, I still end up with callouses or replacing gloves every few weeks. I've had these for about a week now of daily gym use and I love them. I have grip, they are easy to use (no wrap around straps that I have to tuck in when I dont use) and I can keep them on even when jumping around from exercise to exercise. The only problem I have with them is trying to write with them on (I use a paper log), but that is it. I am not sure how long they'll last but we will see! So far, so great!! mine lasted more than year. with heavy usage. i am talking 5-6 days 2hr work outs. these change my life basically. i gain muscle and strength no doubt thanks to these gloves. i always look for durability, since not most of us can purchase gloves every few months, this lasted without any issues, without any special care. i mean i didn't leave it in the car under the sun. go work out back in the house. so i highly recommend these purely based on how well they lasted and its durability. i think i paid like 21 bucks , in my opinion its gave me my money's worth. what more can you ask. they are still in one piece, just begins to rip from the seams right in the middle. may be company can look into improving these without stitches, i think that would last for years. great value great product. i also recently bought lifting glows kind without wrist straps, because of my experience, but they are not seems to fairing well. plastic padding are coming loose. kind of disappointed. but i am purchasing lifting pads again today. ... show more

Use it for doing pull-ups, RDLs, barbell rows and heavy dbs exercises. I originally had the universal fit.. it was so big and the Velcro straps were so long it hurt my wrist. These straps were a great asset to my lifting routine. I pr’d a 515 lb deadlift with them. Better than the regular long straps that take forever to wrap around the bar. Unfortunately, after 6 years and many deadlifts later, one broke when I was trying to lift a lighter weight. Things don’t last forever I guess. These braces help me deadlift heavier weights the same way Versa Grip does. They are a much cheaper alternative and is similarly effective.
