This is my first Lift hard hat. I’ve worn MSA, Jackson, JSA, and many others. Hands down the best I’ve used. Right out of the box, the Dax hard hat required zero break-in time, and the suspension is extremely comfortable and adjusts easily. I’ve also added their rim protector for good measure to keep edges from damage. I have considered purchasing their ear muffs, but I’m not too thrilled about drilling holes into my new hat. I wish they had an adhesive mount which would allow other brands of ear muffs to be added. Additionally, I have yet to find a cold/winter liner that attaches easily to their suspension system. I’d rather use one then wearing a hat underneath as hat retention can become an issue in windy conditions. If you’re looking for a comfortable full brim, the Lift Dax won’t disappoint. Accessory wise, I think the manufacturer can do better. If anyone from Lift Mfg values my insight they can reach out at will. ... show more

It's a very nice safety hard hat. Only thing is the forehead leather sweatband is a little hard and uncomfortable.

I love this hard hat. I’ve had it for years. I came back to write a review and say it definitely holds up. The leather inside holds up great as well. Also, a bit of advice. If you find the net inside doesn’t stay attached to the actual hard hat, don’t be alarmed. I super glued the net to the metal bits on the hat, inside the helmet, a year ago, and it hasn’t given me trouble since! ... show more
