Great replacement option. I have a granite island and my daughter's tent to bang the metal stools against the it. Over time it has slightly damaged the chairs and some areas of the granite. It's not noticeable but I know it's there. I got these sooner than expected so that was a plus. They were extremely easy to assemble to me. They look exactly how they are advertised. I love the price point as well. I always shop around before settled on anything and these were priced well for the color and look I was going for. I don't know how they will hold up to my kids but they feel comfortable to me. I love the fact they are adjustable and no more banging the chairs against the granite. I can get used to this. My only complaint is the condition it was in at the point of delivery. Both boxes were damaged. One more severe than the other. I highly doubt that was the fault of the seller and more likely the process it went through to get here.(Delivery, Even though it has "fragile" displayed on the packaging) well things happen but that didn't affect the integrity of the products. They still arrived damage free. I was just missing the one package of hardware which I'm sure fell out during this delivery process. If I need more I will definitely purchase with them again.

The packaging smelled and the parts were wrapped in paper labeled car wash. It was not leather smell, smelled more like a barn. But once you get them out, they look really nice. They go up pretty high and are pretty easy to assemble, 5 minutes for both. The instructions failed to state that you need to remove the black cap on the rod. The base is not very heavy so you need to be careful getting on/out of it as it may slide. The chair is wide so I added back support as I prefer working on the bar. Overall I love those bar stools.
