I replace my 4' x 4' shed with this one hoping I could just push my mower into it without folding the handle. No such luck. Walls are much thicker than steel shed and 8' x 5' includes the roof overhang so interior dimensions are somewhat less. Harder to put together than video of man and wife team assembling it would indicate. That said, it was much easier than other sheds I have assembled. Withstood hurricane Irene without being blown over and more importantly, kept everything inside dry, despite the horizontal rain. Very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

    • Great She Shed for Gardeners
This unit is the perfect She Shed to replace my wife's prior shed. Yes, she does like it very much, which is all I really wanted. The size and price were what I wanted also. The shed took two people 7 hours to assemble. The unit has two things to consider: 1) The window is on the left side instead of the right side as pictured. I had to cut a hole in our wooden fence on the left side in order to allow light to enter the shed through the shed window. 2) The left door requires pulling door latches at the top and bottom of the door (from the inside) in order to open the left door. These require some pulling strength, so I had to add a ty-rap loop to each latch to make the latches easier to open. I am sure there are alternate solutions to making the latches easier to open. With the above modifications, my wife is happy. Who could ask for more ? ... show more

I got this shed for a crazy one-time price of $776. I don't know why it dropped, because every time I look for it it's at leas t$1250 (currently $1389). At $776 it's a good deal, but $1300 for some pieces of plastic is a rip-off. Now for the shed itself, it was relatively easy to build, took me about one full day with one person's help. Instructions were easy to follow. The plastic itself is pretty flimsy, but relatively stable after assembly. Very important to have a perfectly level platform underneath, makes lining up the pieces much easier. I would not recommend for a high wind area. Note: I already had an identical shed at my house installed by the previous owner that I would guess is about 10 years old and still looks brand new, even with the Arizona sun. ... show more

    • Good quality and value for the money but not perfect.
It arrived in two boxes which made it much easier to lug around the yard when dropped off the back of the delivery truck. The instructions were generally clear and the parts well labeled for assembly. Their YouTube videos were also a great help with the assembly. The walls do NOT pop in as easlily as indicated in the instructions or video, and I had trouble keeping them locked into the floor as the assembly continued. The asssembly requires that everything line up perfectly - do not move onto the next step until the previous one is perfectly in place. Though I am very good at following instructions and assembling things, I found that as each new part was added it got progressively harder to get the parts to line up and go together properly. By the time I got to the last part (back right roof panel) I could not get it to line up at all. I finally had to rig a pipe clamp to squeeze the parts into alignment before screwing them together. Once together, it was great. Waterproof, doors line up and close smoothly. The strength of the shed is in its complete assembly. So the individual parts are pretty flimsy until all together. That said, the walls a thin and easily flex. I would not lean heavy objects against them, or try to put heavy objects on the shelves that you can add to this item. I do worry that over time (or during a heavy snow) the walls will start to bow, but there is no indication as yet (3 months) that this will happen. You get what you pay for, and this is a good value for the money. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to assemble in the order they suggest, and to make sure each piece is in properly before moving onto the next. The makers clearly put a lot of thought into it's design and assembly. But don't expect it to be on a par with a shed build by hand with 2x4's. ... show more

We love this storage shed! It arrived quickly, was fairly simple to set up, and is the perfect size for our needs and the space we had to put it. I have a large collection of Christmas trees/tree decorations/lights/etc. They are now all stacked neatly in the shed, clearing out room in our double car garage, which can now actually accommodate two cars! In addition to 12 large totes, we also stored our outdoor chair/bench cushions that are used only in the summertime. Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

This arrived in two boxes. My husband and I watched a couple of video's on how to put together which were quite useful. Some instructions really lacking on detail - specifically the door mechanisms. but in just a little over 4 hours we completed the project and it's quite nice. all the shelving is great, plenty of space for us.
