I have just started using these, the other models seemed cheaper. I think this one is made for those who want a comfortable hand grip, it is wider in the middle and fits my hands perfectly. The cradle for the dumbbells is also well made and I think it will hold up well. But I am most impressed with how easy it is to change your weight preference. Just twist it to your desired weigh and lift straight up. Thank you for this wonderful product. I plan on using them three times a week. I'm pretty happy with these, but I want to put my one big complaint up first: These are not balanced. There is a side that prefers to be up and you will want to adjust them in your hands to account for this before beginning a set. This is pretty annoying for me personally, but the rest is good enough that I am still willing to give them 4 stars. The adjustment is easy to use as long as you have good lighting on where you put the tray. You'll want to be able to clearly see the unused weights when setting the dumbbells down in them. There is no noticeable wiggling of the weight segments during workouts which is great. They feel sturdy and easy to configure and use. There is enough texture on the handles that even with sweaty hands I don't have any issues turning the handles to adjust the weight setting. I really wish they were balanced better though. If price is not a concern for you I recommend looking for a set with better balance. Otherwise these are great for the price. ... show more

I have not had these for very long yet, but I am impressed so far. I ordered a pair of these because I had maxed out my Boflex 52.5 pound dumbbells. The construction of these feels very solid. I also like the fact that I can twist the handle to set my weight. I also like the pedestal design which makes it easy to set them down without jamming the weight plates. The end caps don’t stick out too far, so it is more comfortable to rest above your knees when laying down on the bench. That is a huge bonus for power lifting, because you don’t want to be reaching for them while you are on the bench in starting position with such a heavy weight! ... show more
