Description

The biOrb LIFE 15 Aquarium is ideal for keeping small fish or shrimp. It's compact enough to place on your desk or in a small space at home. Like all biOrbs, the biOrb LIFE 15 uses ceramic media to provide biological filtration which has a surface area equivalent to the size of a soccer field. Any excess waste is collected and held in a filter cartridge at the base of the biOrb. To maintain your biOrb LIFE 15 all you need to do is simply replace the filter cartridge every four weeks and change a third of the water. The biOrb LIFE 15 uses the same proven filtration system as the rest of the biOrb range. The biOrb LIFE 15 is supplied with a standard long-life LED light. For safety and peace of mind, the lights and air pump are low voltage. The aquarium itself is made from acrylic, which is ten times stronger than glass and backed by a 2 year warranty. Smarter design makes fish keeping easy. Now you can have all the style of the LIFE collection in a smaller version. If you're looking for a small high performance aquarium, then choose the biOrb LIFE 15 Aquarium.

  • Very dissapointed with this product!... updates
Color: White with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
First thing, I received not the right tank but was the same company and such so ended up keeping it. I was so looking forward to have a fish in the house until that idea became into a nightmare. . . is crazy to have to clean the tank almost every 4-5 days? only stay clean like for 1 day? then the brown stain algae or whatever is that start showing up. In addition the rocks and even the biorb decoration of 45 dollars ended up hurting or damaging the fish tail so I had to remove it only keep the middle decoration. Is horrible product, changed filter when was needed and still doesn't stay clean for more than 4 days?? I seriously don't know what to do! poor fish living in that tank and waste of money. Very frustrating update (May 4, 2022) My husband took over it, researched and manage to get a balance by buying so many extra products to keep tank out of that brown algae soo still good-ish but keep in mind is not a straight forward tank . . . You gotta put a lot of time and effort ... show more

  • Such a great deal!! Wow!
Color: Transparent with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
I'm not new to the Biorb scene.I always brought the pricey decorations for my other fish tanks, but not the aquarium itself since they were so very expensive.Never in my life could I afford a Biorb AND the decor to set up such a beautiful tank. Well last week its like my prayers were answered.I causally checked amazon and they were selling this tank used for 40 bucks.I had to do a double take because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.Listing said It was in "very good with small cosmetic imperfections ".I quickly brought it,a 160 to 40 dollar tank I expected so many problems and probably a crack on the tank and missing aquarium kit parts.Something or anything that would justify the low price. I received the tank on Thursday and it arrived in perfect condition! Everything was brand new! Even the kit parts were still sealed. No damage to the tank or even a scratch.Very happy and please with my purchase,I transferred my old Biorb decor and rocks to this new tank and set everything up following the instructions. The tank looks so premium and so very nice that even if you paid full price, its worth every penny. Thanks for reading my review! ... show more

  • Expensive but worth it.
Color: White with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
Bought this as a gift and it was a HUGE hit. As the purchaser I knew it would be an attractive aquarium but I was even surprised by how stunning it is all set up. The white sides are slightly translucent when the light is on and the reflected light of the water and the bubbles is beautiful and hypnotizing. Be prepared to $pend though. The tank was $100 and I spent another $100 on Biorb brand decorations, which you’ll prob want for this tank to fully utilize the “good bacteria” filtration method. But hey when the purpose of the product is to stare at it, I say make sure it’s a beautiful thing to stare at. Advice: The 4 gallon is a great size for a beta and fits nicely on a dresser. But even that smaller size needed two packs of white rocks and one of moss rocks to not look sparse. The taller “medium” plants also fit in this smaller size tank if you fill the water up a litter higher. ... show more

  • All form, no function
Color: Transparent with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
First off, don’t get this tank for a beta. The current is too strong for betas. The bubbler vibrates so much it moves itself off the table and makes a lot of noise. I had to rig it up where it hung off the side just so the vibrations wouldn’t disturb the water in the tank. It’s very very hard to clean completely and even partial water changes has proven difficult trying To reach ur hand in the small opening. the tube in the middle it limits the plants or decor you might want to add. The lid won’t fit if u have to add a heater. It grew a tremendous amount of algae even tho it was kept in literally zero light and all I had was a beta and adding a snail didn’t seem to help. Also, the filters are not carried by any local pet stores and you have to order everything online. ... show more

  • you could certainly do worse. If you just want a smaller tank that ...
This is mislabeled, tank is actually 15l, just shy of 4g. Not super-easy to set up, especially as a full-grown man, with full-grown man hands, but manageable. Lighting appears suitable for low-light plants. Current is a bit strong for my betta, so I kinked the pump (replaced the stock pump with a tetra 10) tube a little to lessen the flow. Added an adjustable heater and thermometer for temp regulation. If you require a certain type of tank to match the décor of your space, you could certainly do worse. If you just want a smaller tank that can still suitably (read: safely) house your aquatic companion then I think I'd look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Worth EVERY penny. Beautiful and Convenient!
Color: White with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
I Absolutely LOVE my fish tank ! I’m going to buy another soon ! I have 2 frogs and 1 catfish. (They say bottom feeders shouldn’t be in this tank) however I bought extra rocks to put over the ceramic media and they are eating perfect . No issues at all ! All my fish were dying in my old tank, these were my last 3 and there adapting great! It is pricey but 100% worth it. ... show more

  • Not good for Shrimp!!
Color: Black with LED Lighting Size: 4 Gallon
This product looks nice and has great design elements available. However, in spite of being advertised as good for shrimp- it is terrible for shrimp. They get stuck in the large ceramic substrate and sucked into the filter. If you are planning on using it for shrimp I’d look elsewhere.
