Very satisfied with the McLaren Go Kart. Here are a few notes from my experience. - Assembly took about one hour. Instructions were clearly written and parts were labelled accurately. A couple of spare parts were included, though not needed. - Be aware that charging does take 8-12 hours, but you can expect to get the advertised two hours of driving per charge. I assumed that number was under "ideal conditions," but it actually matched our experience. You can't plug in this car and forget about it though -- you'll need to unplug the following morning to prevent battery damage. I just set myself a reminder when I plug it in. - The car is plenty fast for a young driver 8 and under. While it won't match the speed of the karts driven by older siblings, its drifting abilities are impressive. Very easy to drift on concrete or asphalt and easy to control. - The car itself is light enough for many adults to pick up and move. - The LED light effects are fun and do improve the visibility of the car as the sun goes down.

This thing is awesome. The battery life is crazy long. I didn’t time it but seems like constant full power use for 3 hours. Kids have been riding around on them in the full speed mode (highly recommended turning it up faster). They don’t seem to slow down much in short grass and the drifting action on a road is so cool. I’m 230 lbs and I was able to ride it although I was afraid to mess it up so I didn’t stay on long. The instruction were pretty good. I got stumped when it said something like “assemble 4 screws and 5 nuts” which I interpreted as a quantity and not the identifier number for one screw and one nut.

Bought for kids for Christmas. It worked one time and will never work again. They drove it once around the block and it's dead. The battery is fully charged, the lights turn on, the gas pedal just does nothing.

So far so good. Not much to assemble and the directions are ok. I figured it all out. Lil bugger goes quick in the fast mode. Under glow lights are a neat touch. My 5 year old is a tad too small for it but we made it work and he cam grow into it.

Compramos este Go Kart para regalo de Navidad de mi hijo de 8 años y debo decir que es genial , la batería dura más de lo esperado , las luces son increíbles , la velocidad es buena , se adapta a su estatura en el nivel medio (son 3 niveles) y la emoción que provoca en mi hijo es sin duda lo mejor hasta su papá quisiera conducirlo pero solo le toca verlo y emocionarse desde el pavimento alentandolo a dar vueltas y derrapar , lo recomiendo al 100 y sin duda volvería a comprarlo

At first my grandchildren loved it but after using it a couple of times the plastic tires started wearing out! I think the price was too much for the item. If I have saved half more of what I paid I would have been able to buy them a real go cart with real tires.

Ordered the 36v version. Fairly easy to assemble. Had my 6 yr old jump in a give it a test drive around the inside of our garage. Everything looked good and he understood the breaking mechanics. I then had him drive to the end of the driveway where it decided to stop working. I figured maybe the battery was dying? Hard to tell for sure since there is no battery capacity indicator anywhere. Charged it overnight and gave it a try again and still doesn't work. The lights turn on but the Go Kart won't move. The provided instructions do not include troubleshooting steps. I would personally avoid purchasing this product
