These shoes are chunky in style but lightweight. They are very comfortable. This is my second pair. I ordered a size 8.5 they fit well, my first pair I ordered the 9 was way too big for me. For reference: I’m 5’3, average/petite frame, and I wear a women’s size 9 shoe. Let me start with the pro’s :) I think these shoes are SOOO comfortable, and I absolutely love that about the Dream Pairs brand. I think this color way is perfect for summer/fall transition & fall outfits. They’re well made, and there are so many gorgeous little details in the design. If only they gave off true “dad shoe” vibes & didn’t look like I’m actually wearing my father’s shoes. Disclaimer: these are MY cons from MY personal experience with the shoe! I know my legs aren’t super skinny, but the way these ENGULF my feet truly make my ankles look nonexistent & my legs look like twigs. The fit is true to size though. Without socks, my toes just barely touch the front of the shoe, but it’s still spacious enough to wiggle my toes around. With socks, I’d say they’re perfectly snug. The bulkiness of the design (ironically which is the exact reason I wanted the shoe) adds another like 2 inches around my foot, which I was absolutely unprepared for LOL the comparison photos say it all. Maybe if I had smaller feet or if I was taller?? Sadly, these just ain’t it for me. If it’s your style though, then it’s a hell yes :)
