I bought this for my 4-year-old niece, and it was her favorite gift by far. She had a blast unpacking and assembling the truck (It requires assembly of about 16 parts, but just a few bolts. It took about 15 to 20 minutes at a slow pace.) I checked out other Ford Raptor ride ons but went with this one because it had the most realistic look. Everything was packaged well and the truck and parts seem very sturdy and well built with a lot of attention to detail. Unlike typical ride-ons that jerk forward abruptly, this one accelerates gently and predictably—making it far safer for toddlers and way more fun. My 4-year-old niece felt like a real driver steering smoothly around the yard, honking the horn very enthusiastically (her favorite activity 😄). The remote control is a cool feature to use as “training wheels” while they get the hang of driving, but my niece figured it out after 5 minutes. She rode it for an hour straight and still had juice for a tailgate party, blasting music from the working radio with Bluetooth. I didn’t buy this ride-on Ford for my toddler. I bought it for control. Let me explain. From my child’s perspective, this is a sleek, powerful machine. They climb in, grab the wheel, and immediately believe they are the CEO of Transportation. Confidence? Through the roof. Driving skills? Questionable at best. Enter: the parent remote. Now suddenly, I’m in the shadows, quietly overriding every terrible decision like some kind of pit crew guardian angel. Headed straight for the mailbox? Not today. Aiming for the neighbor’s dog? Absolutely not. Full-speed into a tree? I don’t think so, junior. The transition is seamless too. Kid thinks they’re driving. I know I’m driving. It’s the perfect illusion—like giving them freedom with a very responsible safety net. Build quality is solid, battery lasts long enough for multiple “look at me!” laps, and it actually looks good rolling down the driveway. I’ve had adults stop and comment on it, which is a weird flex for a toddler vehicle, but I’ll take it. Best part? First, I received the truck one early, and the item was packaged extremely well. I was smart to take all the parts and placed them the pool table. The instructions were adequate, and a lot of the nuts were already on the car which made it easier. Once everything was installed, the car worked perfectly. My grandson has an obsession to drive a vehicle, so this was the perfect gift for his birthday. Lots of power for driving in the grass. Got this for my grandkids for Christmas they are 3 and 4 yrs old. Both can fit comfortably in it together or alone. The battery lasts a long time so the kids get a lot of play time on it. Its a very well built battery car. Assembly wasnt hard either.
