This hair care mask from OVERCARE is called a Botox for the hair. Botox for the hair is not made up of the same ingredients that are found in injectable Botox. Based on searching for what is hair Botox? the hair industry has adopted this term for a hair treatment that conditions and coats hair with fillers like keratin and collagen to repair damaged and broken hair fibers. Now down to the product itself, What is OVERCARE Botox for the hair ? It feels conditioning even on my hands. It is a very thick rich dense cream. The product shows it is 34 fluid ounces. It is heavy. It weighs 37.2 ounces based on the product and the container. On my hair, it feels amazing when I am working it through. The directions say to start at the ends and work towards the scalp. This felt backwards so it took a bit of tapping my head and rubbing my stomach to get my brain to do this. I did mange to accomplish the requested technique. After 30 minutes I rinsed my hair with warm water as instructed and let my hair air dry. The softness and the overall look are totally amazing. I am also thrilled with the size of the container and the amount needed to make my hair feel this good. It is suggested 1-2x per week. I feel like this will last me 6 months and the price at the time of this review is $29.99. The product is a total steal and would still be a deal at $39.95. My Rating is 5 Stars Since the listing currently does not show a photo of the product ingredients ( I did add one in my review photos ) or list the ingredients in the listing, here they are. I always like to know what is in something I am going to buy or use on my body. I did my best to spell everything exactly like the list as well as rechecking. I apologize if I made any errors. Methylisothiazolinone (MI) is a preservative that is super efficient against bacteria at surprisingly low concentrations. This should not be considered in a product that is designed as a leave in conditioner. It is to be expected in rinse off shampoos and conditioners. Alchol Denat. It's a super common skincare ingredient It has several benefits: great solvent, penetration enhancer, creates cosmetically elegant, light formulas, great astringent and antimicrobial It can be very drying if it's in the first few ingredients on an ingredient list. Experts have varying opinions on this ingredient. I hope my photos and information help someone.
