I bought this for husband for his birthday, and he loves it! He literally couldn't stop playing with it. It comes with a piece of plastic that will allow you to hook it onto a door, but that leaves the whole thing pretty wobbly when using it. He then discovered there's little holes in the backboard you can use for thumbtacks or nails to secure it to a wall and it's perfect! The rim bounces when hit and the backboard is pretty solid. He's been struggling a little with a part of the net not wanting to stay in position, but a quick fix of tape should help solve that. Though I didn't watch him pump up the ball, both seem to work just fine. The ball feels like it'll last a good while. Overall a great product and would definitely buy again. ... show more

    • Good for gentle use.
About 16 x 13, sturdy, comes with pump to inflate mini basketball and a plastic clip to fit over the door. The only thing I didn’t like and it’s not the fault of the merchant, all of them were opened and I had to put the pump and clip back with the boards.

    • Great shooting entertainment for my high school freshman classroom!
I allow shooting before class, and when work is done, or at a break. It is in the back of the classroom, and the ball is so soft that no one gets hurt. It is my ploy to get some of those students that need a nudge to class on time! It works! However, it doesnt take much to break the plastic rim. I had to replace it and buy a whole new one. That is just because you cannot touch it by blocking or slam dunking. So that is just supervision. The second one I ordered came with a more plastic like mini ball, and the pump worked, but the ball would not hold air :( Had to go out and buy one whech was impossible to find a foam one that doesnt bounce all over the classroom. Ended up with a squishy one that is sort of bouncy, but at east doesnt hurt anyone. I wish they incuded TWO no bounce balls with this package, that would be smart. ... show more

I got this for my 2 year old grandson. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that would not be interesting to him in a few months. This fits the bill. I have not had it long enough to really rate the sturdiness and durability accurately. I can say that one of the pieces that holds the net on broke the first time it was hit with the ball. I fixed it with a twist tie, no big deal. I did not have high expectations for this product, so the fact that a piece of it broke didn't bother me. ... show more

I purchased this item as a gift for my 11 year old. It is great quality at a great price. It fit nicely over the closet door and after 2 months of use, it is still holding strong. The pump, ball and hoop are a great set and perfect for a tween/teen room.

Bought this product for my grandson. He would have LOVED it but it came missing the pump to blow up the ball and the plastic piece to hang it on the door. Waiting on a replacement.

    • Too flimsy and small
Extremely flimsy. Couple of net hooks were broken before it reached me and while attaching the net I broke couple more!! You just have to be extremely careful touching it. The door hanger hook won't work on most doors as that too flimsy as well....few minutes after hanging it the pins came off by stress..so now I'm using few tie wraps to keep everything in place..the net, the hook, and the rim! But it's good enough for a 4 year old :) I wouldn't recommend it..or buy again ... show more

    • Way better than expected
My (basketball obsessed) toddler-aged son has special needs and requires a medical procedure each night where he ends up spending about 30 minutes in the bathroom. We got this as an inexpensive little hoop that he could play with while we do his routine. Despite being made of lightweight plastic, the hoop and backboard is well constructed. I had to teach him not to try to pull himself up on the hoop (it would break!) but he seemed to understand that. We screwed it into the wall instead of hanging from the door (my little guy is just two so that would be too high for him!) and it’s already provided hours of entertainment. We ordered a different hoop for the playroom that looks a little nicer, but at triple the cost. I’m already regretting not just getting another one of these!
